They had an album called Pet Sounds? Can someone remind me what was on it?
Nothing important, I mean there are no songs about surfing or cruising in your hot rod, just some weird junk instrumentals and lots of boring whiny love songs.

Yikes, still haven't received it from ImportCDs (though i've heard all the unreleased/new stuff already). I really thought the point of pre-ordering something is to get it on, or maybe a day or two after, release day. Actually, if something is not limited run, what is the purpose of pre-ordering?
ImportCDs is known to sometimes cancel pre-orders without notice, so you may want to contact them.

A group of us went to the Toronto show Saturday night. Nice venue (Sony Centre) which looked sold out (couldn't see the balcony). Crowd seemed about 50/50 split as to there for Brian or beck. Regardless, it was an entertaining show. From my recollection, set list and performances were identical to that posted for the Detroit show, except they did play CAW and no Pet Sounds (IIRC). We've seen Brian every time he's up in the Buffalo - Toronto area and this was, by far, the most relaxed he's been (maybe because he's not the entire show with Al and David there and leads passed around so less pressure to perform?). He looked like he was enjoying himself during their set and more "animated" (ie. "into it"); made introductory comments (not just a few words) to more of the songs than usual; and, as some here have suggested his voice seems better than it has been in 10+years of touring again, perhaps because he is performing more. Al's voice is just so solid and david did a great job on Little Bird. Darian, Scott, Jeff all did great on their leads as well. While I'm more a vocals and harmonies person than instrumentals/solos etc., Jeff Beck was outstanding and his guitar on Surf's Up almost sounded as it was singing (in addition to the guys doing the BVs). One observation - IMO there was less crowd energy - maybe due to the mixed crowd - than at a usual BB/BW/M&B concert which usually wind up with the up tempo crowd pleasers that has everyone singing and grooving to the music. That's not to take anything away from last night's show which we enjoyed very much.
According to Setlist.fm, they did "Please Let Me Wonder" as well. Is this true?

Has anyone seen Mike and Bruce over the past week?
According to fb they're doing Heroes and Villains, Sail on Sailor, and Forever...not too crazy for them, but I don't think they've been played since the reunion.
Anyone have a full setlist or knowledge of other setlist goodies from them? Maybe competing with Mr. Pet Sounds...
They're doing "forever" because John Stamos is with them. Competition is good for both groups and fans overall if we can't have the full band together. Pushes both sides for deeper cuts. Can't wait for Mike to announce his joint tour with Slash.

I just have to say, after reflecting a few days on seeing Brian at the Oakdale in CT that he seemed to be really into the show. When Jeff was doing the falsetto at the end of "Fun Fun Fun", Brian was doing this "whoa" counterpart that I hadn't heard him do before in video clips. He also added an extra "Goodnight baby, sleep tight baby" at the end of WIBN: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtrAnOf6oyQ and he did the final "God Only Knows" during that song that I hadn't heard him do in clips from this summer's tour: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMEzrjDuAAk Just little things to indicate he's fully immersed in the music, instead of sitting blankly. Anyway I think Brian is energized at this point in the tour. The shorter set and touring with Al and David takes away some of the vocal responsibility as well. I don't think it's surprising that at the next show he decided to start playing the bass in the encore again.

According to Brian's forum, Blondie was there for "Sail On Sailor" and "Wild Honey" tonight.
Hi Mayoman, Welcome to the board. Boston, my new favorite set so far. This tour keeps getting better! Blondie should be at all dates. Jeff is doing "Even Odds" -one of his better recent rave-ups from 1999. Was there a dry eye in Boston as the lights went out after Danny Boy? Bet not, me too - I'm Irish/English. Hope they do a dvd. Note from the Albany show: Jeff made a comment the other day about how folks should turn off the recorders and just enjoy the show. The up-loader mentioned he was being hassled by security! -"stay in 'yer seat kid, we's got a show going on." Thanks for the welcome! I'll be at the next show in Wallingford, first time seeing Brian, Al, and David(I saw Mike and Bruce a few weeks ago). Incredibly excited!
