...     I'm taking John's stand in this round.  Watching my favorites vanish, they're really all too good to vote away, was even harder than Today.  But, my very favorite is still standing, for now. 

Let Him Run Wild      my favorite on this long-player.  my second favorite is/(was YOU...YOU...)  Girl Don't Tell Me.  That's how much I like it.  When I first heard it I did not think it sounded like the Beatles, it sounded like Carl's best vocal up to that point.  It is still one of my favorite Carl vocals.  If Rhonda wins this, then too many are just voting for singles.

Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow. All others are showcase of the BBs' brilliant vocals.

Wasn't that Turn on your Heartlight?  The one Mr Wilson is referring to was done by the Righteous Brothers in 1966.  Also done by Van with Them and Long John too.

Here Today                  That's Not Me is the one I miss the most, from what's gone.  I had nothing to do with voting off those instrumentals either.

What can you do?  We are taking apart one of their best records.   At this point I'm trying to protect my real favorites.

Then I'm a Beach Boys fan.  They all made it what it was.  I don't think Brian could have done it on his own.  Saying that, I do like Brian, Dennis, and Carl the best of the Beach Boys.  Some folks here like Al or Mike the best.

I need to know where to buy these on preorder.  I want like 20 cases.  Hoping to pull autograph or especially the concert used clothing pieces.

job,  What's your job?  That's 20 x $1300.  Sure there must be a cheaper way to get Brian's autograph.  I looked over at Ebay to see how much my Beatles 1993 River Group set is worth, and it's not much for the base set.  Except for the chase and promo sets, those were big bucks.  A sealed box is going for $40.  I didn't even see the #1 Hits Gold Record cards, so those must be holding their value.  I did collect a variety (movie, NASCAR) back in the late 80's/early90's, but not to re-sell.  As was said, the market bottomed out.  A big-time card collector friend helped me, so I didn't have to buy boxes, he did.  After seeing those prices for the promo cards, maybe I will think about selling some of them.  guitarfool2002, I too love your Brian mock-up.  Is that a glass of milk?  Or, a shake?  

If what I read on this board is true, and Mike Love is Evil Incarnate, a money grubbing bastard that never cared about the music, why didn't Brian fire him back in 1966?

Fire was one the SMiLE album "elements" and SMiLE was not released at the time. Brian released his own version of SMiLE in 2004.

Mike does not deserve this kind of hate here.  He is a Beach Boy.  How can you love the band, and say this sh*t?

It's okay to poke fun now and then, but these kinds of threads ARE an embarrassment.  I like Mike.  I can't see the point of what if-ing the 60's band.

Salt Lake City is in my top 5 on this.  How could you guys do that?  And now you are after GFNYC?  I love this track, but in a defensive move
