The compilation that comes to my mind is of course "Brother re-issued : Proposed bonus track" with original mixes (Sound of free, awake, ...), alternate versions of 70' tracks. Better sound, according some fans, than recent boxsets.
The girl singing Kiss me baby with Mike is his daughter Ambha, i think it's a cool inclusion in the set. I like the big screen like in the C50 tour. I attended the french show in Olympia (Paris), it was wonderful. Everybody standing in their feet from Do it again to Fun fun fun. Mike was in great voice and Brian E as well. I missed All I wanna do though (it was on the RAH setlist). I could easily have done without Stamos ...
Not only Al sounds good, but Mike too. The French show i attended on 06/24 was great The Royal Albert show was even better : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLrIROeffvQ So i could see Al and Matt joining Mike's band in the fall of 2022
Unsurpassed Masters Vol. 8 (1965) The Alternate "Today" Album, Vol. 1 & 2 (4cds/vol) are for you. the second box contains tracking and vocal sessions for "Please Let Me Wonder" (16 takes filling a whole disc), and 18 takes of "In The Back Of My Mind" The tracks are almost all in true stereo, the sound quality is fantastic !
