i just wanna say thereīs incredible lot of hate on this board, regarding different opinions! I mean, the man put out an mix of an album that Iīm sure everybody on this board loves (or songs, or bites to be precise) and you guys treat him like sh.t! I donīt understand... He obviously put a lot of effort in this and you bug him over GV! One song! If youīre so damn righteous why donīt you bug him with Look, Holidays...  Iīm too preparing my own mix (and yes GV will be in it), and Iīm seriously considering not to put in online for everyone on this board, but few individuals, who have also been decent, polite and supportive of Mujan in this story, and yes they too have GV in their mixes! Very sad to see so much disrespect for this mix... |

very good indeed! flows realy nice..
I always wondered why did Brian abandoned "barbershop part-after 1st verse" with verse music underneath? It's seem it could flow very nice into ..well everything..cantina..barbershop quartet (3rd verse) ...boys/girls part...
Did anyone tried to snyc this barbershop part with verse music underneath IN STEREO? would love to hear that!

Ok, How about this question?
Of ALL the boots of SMiLE and the first disc of The SMiLE Sessions which is your favorite? Do you think the SMiLE Sessions reconstruction is the End All or is there another mix which you believe is done better?
Uffff I believe that TSS isnīt best way to go..nor is BWPS from which it derived.. I love JMZ mix..so well done, not too long in terms of minutes..would love to see him to try outdo his own mix with new sources now available (TSS box set)! Myself I would like to do my own mix ..and Iīm trying for the last year and a half..  So much material to work with, but trying to keep it it under 33 minutes! Ufff |

Great! But not so great for me, since I donīt have a proper store in my city nor anywhere near me to buy this issue. I tried to get in contact with the publisher to get just this one issue, and they donīt wanna do business that way, they wanīt me to buy a subscription! I donīt wanna do that............
Can anyone help me, Iīwilling to pay shipment, and all the costs...

I'm pretty new to "Friends", but very tender album, sort of a laid back Smile...if Smile have been there in 1967 , then Friends would be a great closure on that story..after all the hype around and inside Smile this is very ...gentle I'd say.
As for the TM I think it's a great closure, kind of musical joke. like Dailey's TTL!
Now that's a song I'll put on my Smile mixes, cause it's out there.. wild..rambling..

I agree that it kind of ruins the momentum.. I personally like the cantina version with some minor changes...
Dont need to point out that I think that Chorus is a great piece of work, both vocally and instrumentally..that wouldn`t exist in January 67 Smile album!:)
I myself in my Smile mixes put it somewhere, apart from HV, in the end..maybe just a snipett in the end, after the Surfs up finishes..you know Surfs up...silence..HV chosrus snippet.. gone, slience... Think that it kinda closes the album in a nice way..
