here comes the night in particular made the biggest differnce for me on cd- it just is real crisp.  its the same mix as the lp but sounds way more open without the vinyl eq and surface noise

god thats so weird i just started freaking out about our car club, and then i see this---- so ill add one: catch a wave, not a single either. 

i played the mfsl surfer girl stereo today and by far, i prefer my UK mono lp, at least for our car club-.  so these came out not w/ the US ones, but later, in 1967, according to discogs----

so this lp, and i seriously seriously doubt the US cap is the same- but you can crank it on my JVC receiver almost to 8 or 9.  Let me stress: **NO** lp, on my jvc receiver, can i crank that loud.  it feeds back at like cracking to to *5* or more on many or most lps. but the uk surfer girl i can blast to like 8 1/2.  i then turn the right speaker off so i can hear the mix in one speaker mono style.   and WOWOWOWOW. 

i like the concept of the smileysmile board it is a beach boys specific board, for beach boys specific things, like how many times i listened to our car club today.  why wasnt this a single.  capitol really missed one there. 

has anyone ever noticed this, at first i thought it was supposed to be a gold record.................BUT I JUST GOT A 44x42 ORIGINAL PROMO POSTER OF LIGHT ALBUM.......................and its clearly a compact disc with a ring in the center, (im talking about the upper right quadrant of.the cover).............were the beach boys time travelers, or did they just have some inside knowledge of the compact disc which at that point was definetly in development?

Full Sail > God Only Knows.  I'm sorry dawg- but God Only Knows has been licecened way to many times for tv/movies etc and although im always down for a live carl version, the studio version has lost its aura for me.  Full Sail on the other hand, gives me shivers!  Espically on my new compact disc version

if you haven't ever heard it on cd.......run don't walk to your phone and order one online- cant speak for the Caribou US version but i can tell you with fact my uk pdo is amazing- it opens up the sound completely compared to what we got on vinyl......difference is night & day
