What an incredible human being Brett's father is.
Yeah, I hope I'm that good of a dad when my baby gets here. I wish you well, being a parent is quite a journey. Let your heart and your instincts guide you. I always say this, babies don't cry because their happy, it's the only way they have to convey to you pain, discomfort or fear. Thanks so much.

The biggest problem I have with this casting is that Graham Rogers (Al) is taller than Paul Dano (Brian) They do LOTR stuff to fix that I'm sure of. This should not be a limiting factor. Would be hilarious to see Al talking to Brian at the same height in the studio. I would fall over laughing! I hope they don't fix it. That would be hilarious.

Good guess, Rover! I did buy one, and I LOVE it! Thanks again, DellyDel!
Nice to hear, Lgafa! Btw, do you know warnakey? He posted here for awhile & even has his own BBs blog. You look a bit like him, judging by his avatar. Got mine Saturday in the natural color. Very nice shirt! Wore it yesterday. My mom asked, "What's a Radiant Radish?" So, I got to tell her the story. She likes Brian, so she thought it was pretty funny that he had a health food store.
Good story, Cyncie! You must show her the pictures of Brian standing in the robe inside of it. Nope, I do not know of him.

Very cool to find out there are some new people checking out the site as well as the Adieu Or Die project! The site was just updated today and yesterday, mainly with a slew of photos I have recently come across or have always liked. As usual, some rare footage, quotes and audio are included too. kwan_dk, you certainly deserve a shout out for scanning those MM articles awhile back. Thanks so much for doing that! I love how all the other guys are with chicks, and Bruce is reading a magazine.

I'd vote against a chatroom simply because it's hard enough having to deal with the misfits, trolls and retards here without having to do it in real time. That said, it would have the decided benefit of shutting up those who keep bleating "well just don't read his posts, then". [/quote] Pretty harsh. Not a good feeling for the people who want to learn more, but are too afraid to ask.

Catch A Wave, Be With Me and The Trader are the three biggest favorites that i tend to stay away from. I know that I should like them, but I just... don't. Catch A Wave is too hokey (I hope that's a word) to me, and the other two come off as slightly pretentious. Hey, what can I say? To quote Gary Usher, "That's just the way i feel".
I don't like The Trader either. Never got why people like it so much. It's something to do with the incredible moog bass, the stunning backing vocals, the killer melodic first half and the gorgeous second, the career-best Rieley lyrics and Carl delivering one of his best, most heart-felt vocals ever... At least that's why I like it. I wish I were hearing the same song you are, Friend. It's THE best song on Holland, by a mile. And I love all of Holland. What about Long Promised Road and Feel Flows - you dislike them too? Curious how some people just do not like Carl's song-writing, period. Whereas to me, when he was really on form he equalled his brothers. I'm a HUGE fan of Long Promised Road and Feel Flows. Those two songs are much better than a lot of songs Brian or Dennis wrote. I'm not trying to take anything away from Carl. I just don't like the feel of the song I guess. To each his own.
