I hope this fits in here, but once again a radio station in Germany played a song from a new album. Only that it's NNP this time...

Just heard Saturday Night as I turned on the radio. Not only that, the presenter even talked about NNP and played a excerpt from an interview with She & Him followed by On The Island. To top it all off they played Sail Away, too. I'm still  gobsmacked. These songs really sound great on radio. 
I really hope that they will add some of these songs to their general playlist...

I'd be thrilled to hear anything from NPP on the radio! My local radio stations will play new Tom Petty, new Pink Floyd, new AC/DC, but no new Brian Wilson! It's a cryin' shame... understandable, I guess, as Brian isn't as big of a name as the aforementioned 3, but nonetheless unfortunate!

I did hear "That's Why God Made The Radio" (the song, not the whole album) once on the #1 local classic rock station here back in 2012, so not all hope for humanity is lost.

Brian's not "macho" enough for the RAWK!!! stations. C'mon now, they've got the same 3 Zeppelin, Stones, Aerosmith, Skynyrd, Sabbath, Whitesnake, Def Leppard, and Motley Crue songs to loop again and again and again! And don't forget those misogynistic shock jocks who are sworn to uphold their duty to provide idiotic "comedy" between those same 25 songs that play over again and again and again.

Saratoga's closest to me, too. However that's a little far for me just to go see a movie. I'm holding out for a Burlington, VT (slightly possible) or Plattsburgh (yeah, right!!!) showing. If not, I'll just get it on DVD in a few months.

I`d love it if classic rock stations played the BBs. But for me to be a regular listener of the format they would also have to start playing the Ramones and get rid of the proto-metal, prog, hair metal, and southern rock that is beloved by the sizable redneck  portion of that format`s audience.

I wonder if there will ever be a chance for a second New Radicals record, no touring or promotion, just another album...

Brian's wall of harmonies at the end sounds good, wish that could have been present through the entire song. The production has a little too much of an Imagine Dragons vibe for me.

I'm impressed that a 7 year old knows about Camera Obscura and Daniel Johnston. When I was 7 I was still jamming out to Old McDonald Had a Farm.

The last time I enjoyed that show unironically was in 1994 when I was 8. Only Denny Wilson can do Forever.
