does anybody know of any video available online of this show.  I'm interested to know the vibe and performance of the show since Brian was
a part of this show.  As the poster acknowledges, this may have been one of the last shows Brian was with the group live until 1996.
seems like it may have been an interesting show.

I do believe that show is available as a bootleg dvd. The Boys did 2 shows that day. I thought it was explained fairly thoroughly in Peter Carlin's book that Stan got involved because Audree called him. She was depressed over not having access to Brian.

I also seem to recall reading somewhere that Carl took over Stan's suit cause he didn't want Stan to be Brian's conservator.

Yeah Brian has a way of making you feel kinda melancholy. The interviewers are very empathetic here. 

Interestingly, Brian says that his wish for the next 10 years would be to live(!)

This beautiful Cadillac has been a California car its whole life Garage kept and currently owned by a member of the Cadillac club of San Diego. I had someone record a :30 second version of the “JAWS” theme, and I took a cassette deck with an endless loop cassette, and set that up, so that anytime we got a call from the front office saying, “Dr. Landy’s on the phone,” I could just push a button and you’d hear, “Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun.” In addition, somewhere along the way we made a backwards tape – that if you played it forward – said something along the lines of, “Landy is the devil.” I think we were (sort of) thinking about hiding it in “Rio Grande” somewhere, but we never did.
