I live near Niagara Falls.  Saw the set up going on tonight at the Falls. Gonna be a huge event. Excitement building here in anticipation.  Also saw Nik Wallenda talking to the local media.  Of course I have to try to watch The Beach Boys. Did not know about their appearance till reading it here on this thread.

Gotta add my voice to the chorus of Thank you Joe Thomas. Yesterday I purchased the CD, put it in my CD player in my car and enjoyed what I never thought could happen again. The joy of a new Beach Boys CD. Its not the classic Brian voice but he sounds very good. "Isn't it time" could be a hit.  The arrangements remind me of the "Imagaination" CD and that is not a bad thing.  Now I'm even more ready to see them later this month at Darien Lake here in NYS.

Two instrumental segments always kick my ass. 1st, the middle section on "here today"leading up to where Brian says "top" and the organ segment right after. Also love the middle section on "leaving this town." Very heady

Greetings to everyone on this mesage board. This is my first post and hope to do many more. Still learning how to navigate this board. Long time Beach Boy fan and currently preparing to see their show here in Upstate NY later this month at Darien Lake. I am Jet Without Wings because I feel the song "Spirit Of America" is one of a handful of songs forgotten in the  recent Greatest Hits packages. It was the title song the the Endless Summer follow up way back when. Anyway, Long Live the Beach Boys!
