David Beard uses Brian's latest song as an excuse to defend Mike Love in this ongoing war kind of thing. So it comes across as a ML PR product and not so much as a review.

There's another, far simpler, reason: Mike doesn't like the recording process. Much prefers the stage to the studio, and having done a smidgen of studio work myself back in the day, I can't say I blame him.

It is also safe to say Mike is not a very creative person. Artists who compose/produce like being in the studio. Mike has not written anything substantial in ages - his last tour de force was SiP. If Mike had the formula to write/produce number one hits he would be in the studio day and night.

So he performs instead.

I really want to hear Don't Worry in its entirety. 

A naive question maybe, but where can I hear a sample of it and the rest (in Europe)?

The reasons many people do not like Daro:

- For the things he did in 60's
- For his behaviour on SS
- For being inaccurate too much

If people don't like something they often show it.

Some people here don't like Brian and they show it, some people here don't like Mike and they show it. A lot of people here are skeptical about Daro and therefor they show it. This means Daro needs to change in order to be more liked - he can not change what he did in the 60's, but he can change his behaviour on SS and he can make his stories more accurate.

I'll simply say that the guy has the title of 'Honored Guest' and that alone should be respected.

His title is not Honored Guest, but Smiley Smile Associate.

What did we learn? To limit the number of questions to posters with more than 1000 posts (which rules me out for a start) so that the long-term members and scholars/historians get the look-in they deserve. Worth keeping in mind for next time. :=)
