Bubbly Waves, is Madonna a more qualified musician than me? Why does she make more money than me?

Um yeah, because of feminism.

You don't need feminism, all you need is the nonaggression principle.

What's scary is that people find Beach Boys lyrics to be misogynistic. I guess *everything* is misogynistic to some folks.

Check your cisgender privilege.

Someone please send them a book by Frédéric Bastiat. And by Menger, Böhm-Bawerk, von Mises, von Hayek and Rothbard.

I mean, give me some stimulus money and I'll write something for the power elite.

That is excellent, sir. Best BB cover I've heard to date.

I must check out more Smiley Smilers Who Make Music, if this is the standard.

Then you should listen to Rab2591's Meant For You cover. It features Woodstock on trumpet and me on clarinet: https://soundcloud.com/robert-borszich/meant-for-you-the-beach-boys

It's wilder than the wild word story. Smiley

142  Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Brian Wilson's One Kind of Love Best Original Song - Nashville Film Festival on: April 28, 2015, 11:50:45 AM
The Nashville Film Festival just celebrated its 46th annual festival with a week of events that included more than 285 films from 45 countries and with more than 43,000 in attendance.

Submissions broke records this year, with more than 3,500 film entries and 1,350 screenwriting competition entries. So who won the award of Best Original Song? The No Pier Pressure/Love and Mercy song One Kind of Love.

Congratulations Brian! This shows Love and Mercy is loved by the people who have watched it and that the songs Brian wrote for the movie, in this case One Kind of Love, strike a chord with cineasts.

- Some of your love
- School days

I don't know if Brian arranged these vocals, but they are horrendous.

Don't worry, UB. I did not even vote in the Swedish election last year. Smiley We have to elect a government so that we can find out what is in it.

I found some minor differences between Sweden and England by the way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noKgDhVygFo&spfreload=10

I was attending a board meeting in The Netherlands in 2010. In a bar (after the board meeting) a British attendee complained to me about the British government's massive public cutbacks. I pretended to be understanding - because I am a nice guy. However, my ancap side screamed (in my head) "You got what you asked for, you are pro-democracy and pro-government.".

It was quite a night. All the Americans there were pro big government/war etc and I repeated Ron Paul talking points, the discussion got pretty interesting after a few beers. I also a had a fairly lengthy discussion with an American on the topic "What country is to blame for the start of WW1". His answer is Germany, my answer is Russia.

What's the typical set list? They're playing at my college this summer.

How about googling "Beach Boys setlists"?
