I'll buy this.  Always happy to have new material from the boys!  Getcha Back, I suspect, is the version they have been playing live with some new lyrics - a bit disappointed that Stamos is playing drums on it as I really like John's drumming on that tune.  Looking forward to Wild Honey with Cowsill - that has been a highlight of their live shows for me.  Good on Mike for finally getting some material out there. 

Canadian fan (from Calgary and going to see Mike and Bruce in less than a month) Rich P here.  I preordered on the first day that had it listed for $20.65 and I ordered two copies so I could get the free shipping.  I hope they honour that price.  I once had them cancel my pre-order for an item that they later offered for substantially more.  $40 is too much.  Although, it is The Beach Boys and I know that even though I am complaining now I would drop the cash - cause I gotta have it!!!

I went to 6 record store today.  I picked up a few extra copies of Bambu if anyone wants (of course I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada so shipping might be a bit pricey) but if anyone wants to trade and has some neat-o stuff, PM and lets make a deal!  I am enjoying the tunes and the packaging thus far.  Cool to have as I missed out on the reissue of POB that came with this material the first time.

I just bought tickets to the Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, and Blondie Chaplin show in Vancouver on Saturday April 8, 2017! I got a bit carried away trying to get the best seats so I have two extra pair (both pair are great seats together row 14 and row 16 both in the center orchestra). I have two wonderful tickets to Brian Wilson (With Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin) on Friday July 1, 2016 in Las Vegas at The Joint in The Hard Rock that I can't use due to a maddening work conflict. I bought tickets to Massey Hall a few days later (July 4) in Toronto instead and now it seems I cannot use those either. Anyhow, I believe the Las Vegas show is now sold out. I am not a scalper and am just looking to recoup what I paid. The seats are great. They are in the Gold2 section Row KK (the two seats are together, of course) which is 11th row centre on the floor in the orchestra section. This is prime seating as if you are much closer you may not see Brian with his white piano obscuring his body and head. This has happened to me before so these seats are up close but not too close. Anyhow please contact me if you are interested. The 2 Toronto Massey Hall tickets are also very good seats (right balcony - which is best view for seeing Brian's face when he performs) RSB2 Row E.

Sell it at the merch stands at Mike and Bruce shows and it would sell thousands.  Sincerely, I think it would easily sell thousands.  If they do just one song from it in the live show it would get enough people curious that it would move many copies.  Just my thoughts.  I would welcome it.  Scott Totten has told me that there are songs recorded at those sessions that haven't made it to the underground market yet.

Sorry if I missed this while skimming the thread but I received my BW reissue (non expanded version) today.  It is supposed to be the 2015 reissue but I do NOT see anything on the outside (I haven't taken the plastic off yet) indicating that it is a 2015 reissue.  Did they send me the right item?  It does have the dark blue sticker that says features Love and Mercy but nothing to give you the indication that it is a new reissue.  If someone who purchased  this can help me out and let me know that would be great.  I don't want to open it in case it is the wrong issue and they won't let me take it back.  Thanks in advance!  Also to anyone who has done an A B comparison in terms of sound quality from the old 1988 to the new reissue, is it worth the upgrade?

Due to the generosity of an LA friend who went to a recent No Pier Pressure signing at Capitol Records I got a vinyl sleeved signed by Brian.  Super cool and will look even better framed with all my other rock stuff.  But she also sent me the Brianfest poster (the very same one that is on the first post of this thread and it is signed by Brian too.  It is signed right in between the Fonda Theatre LA and March 30 2015.  If anyone who was at the show wants a pretty cool keepsake and has anything neat-o to trade in exchange shoot me a pm and we can chat.  I love the poster but I wasn't at the show and thought someone who was might enjoy it more, so I would prefer to trade it.
