this is what happens when an experiment (mine) goes awry...but my legitimate question has been answered...now for another one...how could ANYONE confuse the two Apples? Yes, a computer company is giving me access to music (not for free, btw) but it's not a record company, it doesn't as far as I know "sign" any artists...well, whatever,iTunes isn't perfect but I'll keep it...the multi- colored apple should accompany any reference to the computer manufacturer, did you see that at the beginning of the Dylan film? MONEY RUINS EVERYTHING

good enough to steal, but you would get credit...I still have some principals...My grade school principal is in Georgia, and my high school principal is in Maryland...Here's a snippet from another one, think Razor Boy- Steely Dan: (chorus) will you stil have a cart to push when the Manager comes and takes your Safeway shirt away will you still be pushin 'em on this cold and windy day
the answer is yes...'til later, over and out...

What in God's name is Macca doing with this Lexus and Fidelity Investment pap?
That was one of his big appeals...never messing around with corporate garbage.
That's one thing Yoko The Space Cadet has on him there.
Surely, he can afford to finance his own tours...

Um actually.... Yoko's the reason that Nike had the rights to "Revolution" in the late 1980s. Actually I'm just trying to learn how to quote, but I think I agree, that she has become a professional widow...Is WACKO JACKO keeping Beatle songs off of iTunes? I would think he could use the money, however much it may be...

Dunno where Maybelline's neighborhood is, but in MY neck o' the woods the name Kate Bush is usually met with blank stares--meaning I AGREE WITH YOU...go to youTube.com, type in Kate Bush, sit back and enjoy--if you haven't already...Some lucky Italians have allegedly been listening to CSNY's version of "Pushed it over the End" for years, but not this American...Bring on the Archives already, I'll find the money somehow (8 CDs--and that's just vol 1 '63-73) The elongated BLUEBIRD shoulda been on the "box set", coulda spent more time on the title...

Had to go thru all 5 pages (whew)
1)The big Em7 between two solos near the end of Down by the River-Neil Young 2)PT-live at leeds 3) Andy Summers- Message in a Bottle 4) Fripp-Hammond song(the Roches) 5) McGuinn-eight miles high 6) Bob Weir-Playin in the band (Ace) 7) Neil again-Drive Back (Zuma) he nearly "out-whistles" Gibbons (La Grange) eight IS enough I guess--nice feedback blast from Carl on Knebworth...

The live version I have by BS (with Doug Hastings replacing Neil Young) is a tad MORE ragged, but I even prefer THAT to the BBs version...usually fast forward thru it...But giving credit where I feel it's due, Okie from Muskogee kicks major butt...I think I'll try that one out at my Thursday night jam session, what's to lose ? Don't answer that

I have a sneakin suspicion Maybelline was refering to a specific philathropic gesture on Danza's part, and NOT pitting Danza against Baio in a beefcake contest (!) Shoe leather w/ mayo works for me...Short of threatening the life of the POTUS, which is already against the Law,anything should be allowed in the Sandbox, like it or not...isn't that what Freedom of speech is about ? Merely skimmed thru Susan's post (at this point) and I wasn't on the board when the Spam hit the fan...The Blueboard is kinda like a charming used book store;SS is like a three story Barnes and Noble...apples and oranges...Kinda nice to know I'm no longer the newest banana in the bunch--If I may--Welcome Trader !
P.S. Surely we can discuss in a more or less adult manner anything we want to...

As a newbie (but a very active one) I offer this: dunno what Boxer said, don't much care, KEEP THE SANDBOX OPEN...I agree with what Susan said--about the posts and the forum--Danza/Baio, don't care 'bout that either...The Sandbox is every bit as important as On Topic Discussions; We can't appreciate beauty without having ugliness for balance,BOTH being in the eye of the beholder...FWIW, the BLUEBOARD seems positively, er, uh, "quaint" after being here for a few days...What do you veteran posters call yourselves--Smileys, Smilers, the SS, oops, THAT'S no good...We need the Sandbox!!!

" sneaky composite footage" ? ANOTHER illusion shattered...Sheryl Crow in her HEY LOOK AT ME, NO OVER HERE ! outfit--shoulda chopped THAT out...a complete Sail on Sailor woulda been nice...And I can't help but wonder if BW, after his liberation from Dr. L, had a mild stroke...It amazes me that the F word can ruffle feathers in 2006...Lenny Bruce would be dissappointed...NOW I'm giving my age away...Wouldn't mind if AGD weighs in on that "sneaky composite footage" idea, it's like finding out Dylan bought Blowin' in th Wind

I think it's HONEST, warts and all...At one point Al asks BW (sitting behind the Wurlitzer ) "Are you OK ?" How times have changed... Dennis clowning with ML--mortal enemies, eh ? BW leaving the stage when they play H&V...Mike, and especially Carl playing to the camera--not that there's anything wrong with that...Dennis, damaged, but still giving it all he's got...
