We've certainly come a long way from those outstanding live show releases from 1964-1968... I wonder what changed?

I've really enjoyed this set. I am hoping that there will be a digital part 2 before the end of the year as I am sure that there is other stuff (namely the DW stuff from the Bandcamp "release" last year) that should come out from this era.

Definitely a great interview. I enjoyed this same group discussing Feel Flows back last year. Really great energy in these discussions.

I feel for those who are going through something internally/mentally. It’s cliche, but I hope that one day we can all just enjoy this amazing music and not get caught up in the drama of it all (I’m 100% guilty of this). I think one day, when all the band has sadly passed, we’ll look back and realize how petty all this was/is.

These are ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) numbers that Universal Music has created. Typically the ISRC corresponds with the track number. The numbers above were created in late 2020. The missing spots are those ISRC numbers that were not registered in 2020.

I supposed that only time will tell whether tracks are registered for those track numbers or if they get skipped.

If it is indeed legit, Big Sur 1970 has been officially released on Live in 1970.

Based on Al’s comments on Billy Hinsche’s FB show back in November, it is coming out in May or June. If that is still the case, I would imagine that there would be some sort of press in March.

It’s amazing that the YouTube video of the Allmusic snippets has had over 6K views. Clearly there is a demand for this set!

Over at the EH forum, titles of approximately 100 tracks from the set were discovered using the ISRC code. Some amazing titles!

Boxset or not, the Dennis material has to be released before it falls into public domain. Taking it from the box only means that it would have to come out digitally.

I agree with you Billy. The band has no regard for their fans. As somebody who owns probably 15 different "versions" of Pet Sounds, I am beyond frustrated.

I never said that they owed me anything. I do not believe that they do. However, as a "paying customer", I think that we should have our voices heard as we have made them a lot of money over the years.

I'm not a very emotional person but I was fighting back tears at times during the concert. To see somebody that you have idolized for most of your life as he was last night was hard to handle.

I just hope that even though he may not appear to be enjoying himself that he actually is.

I saw Brian and crew last night in Atlanta. This was my 9th BW concert and 3rd in the past 3 years. I have to say that this was by far the most upsetting of any of them. Brian had a knee brace on and was anywhere but the concert. It truly made me sad to see him like this. The band, as always, sounded fantastic and is always professional.

I am hoping that he was just having a bad night but I can say that there was a noticeable decline in my opinion since the 2016 Pet Sounds 50th show.

The studio chatter before "Help Me, Rhonda" sounded like it was from the Today version. I think that this is unreleased.

The version(s) of "The Letter" sound different than the Rarities disc (both sound more natural and less polished). "With a Little Help from My Friends" is the same version but Bruce's vocals are sped up.
