COMMENT to krabklaw:
Your video shows great insight, sensitivity and a meaningful universal interpretation. High marks on the production values, beautifully done. It honors all of us who worked on the "sound track."
Good Viewing and Listening, ~Stephen W. Desper
Wow! It's so incredibly gratifying to get such positive feedback from you, Stephen, someone who actually contributed to the creation of this beautiful record. To hear you say it honors your work in any kind of meaningful way is something I consider the ultimate compliment, so I thank you so much for the kind words. Needless to say, the segment of your 'Alternate Mix' version that I used over the title serves as a perfect setup for the song that follows. It's ethereal beauty adds so much to the soul of the video. I originally had thought just to have silence over the title, but I'm glad I didn't. Thanks for your artistry in creating an alternate version that stands on it's own as a separate work of art and has it's own many many fans. You made my day with your comments; I really appreciate them. -Bob

Thanks for posting that link. Too bad this song is repetitive to the point of self-parody, half-baked and tedious. Breakaway was weird and kind of cool in it's way, but this song has none of that. It goes to show that the Beach Boys magic voices could turn even a nothing song like this into something worth listening to.

After hearing that, the fact that Murry co-wrote this song makes a lot more sense to me now than it ever did before. In this arrangement I hear a lot of the old-fashioned type of popular music influence that I would expect from Murry. This is like finding a missing puzzle piece 50 years later, and it's fascinating. I really want to hear the rest. Rick Henn was a most talented fellow and I wonder how deep his involvement was.

Even though I'm not a super fan or anything, it's still cool to have a new Who album in the world. I've been listening to the preview tracks this past week and checked out some of the new tracks today on Youtube and it all sounds pretty good if not great. Spotify is featuring the deluxe version of the album which adds three tracks to the regular edition.

I'm assuming it's Brian singing the loud "Ho! Ho!"s on The Man With All The Toys. I hear the beginnings of the older Brian voice in those Ho!'s. I noticed it 'cause I've been listening to that song a lot lately.
