one thing that really amazes me about SmileySS, beside the overhauling of Brian's Smile tunes, is their use of manipulated tape & the machienes to further an exotic sound. no flange, heavy delays or any thing extrordinary, just enough that  fits in the organic demo-like quality of the LP as a whole. Of course,Tons o'Splicing,though...but just like in"GV", SSmiley & the Boys use splicing like an Effect--not just  means to "EDIT".

anyone care to elaborate on this point further?

P.S.- Brian once said that 2 min. was like 2 hrs. on drugs...anybody think this is why Smiley Smile and some outtakes like Bin Way too Long, as well as what came to be Cool cool Water, are more like vignettes of a wacky cartoon series, instead of balls-out songs, like on Wild Honey or SunFlower?

No praises to me, you're actually agreeing w/ The Bible and His word.

I see no irony that a man as beautifully flawed/talented as Dennis Wilson, was all at once so in tune w/ his spiritual ineptness and wa so humble.  He could take all the B.S from the BB's and chuck it.

And we, the fans are all the more satisfied cause we were blessed to be able to hear Dennis' fragile tender songs on POB. Don't get me wrong--he knew he was a hard liver, tell me what cocky little punk out there nowadays has the humbleness and greatness of Dennis Or Brian....ZERO, if i should be so bold.

I'm glad that now Brian has publically acknowledged liking Jesus Christ as GOD.

And it rules!!! It really whizzes past quick album, i think it's less than 45 min.

Plus i think shes on his "Cant Get u offa my mind" Video'95....& she and J.Depp have had a long fling as well...
