Funny Just a few minutes ago I e mailed one of my buddies looking for a copy of SIP, both the U.s. and U.K. version I mentioned I reqally liked it where as most B.B. fans trashed it.
Now here it isbeing mentioned, and with some of us not in a negative way.
I look at SIP as a GREAT Mike ,Bruce and Terry Melcher disc. With some nice Carl vocals.Period
4  Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Re: Tape trading vs. Tape \ on: January 04, 2008, 06:50:22 PM
I think for the second time in say 25+ years of collecting BB,I recently recieved a 8 cd set that I was asked not to trade..it feels kind of strange to have it and not be able to offer it to other BB Friends but,I will keep my word knowing that down the road somebody will break the seal and release to the trading circle.
I don't think tape hoarding is really the issue and it is definetly not an issue of who is a better fan.If someone ask you not to trade an item, but gives it to you as a gift,DON'T TRADE IT!

Would it be o.k. to post artwork and track list?
Or is that against forum rules?

I just trade this two tapes to a new friend This is all the ino Camp California cartoon sieries and the Campfire tapes?
This  was a summer replacement variety show that aired in syndication in '89. The BB had just scored big with Kokomo so their profile was once again, fairly high. It featured then-recent BB concert performances, BB performances on the Universal Soundstage, musical and comedy guests (a then relatively unknown Ellen Degeneres was one such guest). But the highlight of each episode was the "campfire singalongs". The BB, most of their families, their sidemen, and others gathered around a capfire with acoustic guitars playing and singing a la the BB Party album. Pretty sweet stuff! This show was a brainchild of one of the Full House producers who had the good sense to hire Steve Binder to direct the thing. Binder was the guy who directed Elvis' 68 Comeback Special. Now that I think about it, the Campfire jams was probably Binder telling the BB, "I did this sitdown set for the Elvis special----I think it might make for interesting viewing". Alan Boyd included a short clip from this show in ENDLESS SUMMER.

Any further input would be appreciated.
