Aaaaaaand, did anybody say "get outta here"? Your request was to PS members about PS thread. Your posting it here, in Smiley Smile board doesn't make sense.
It's a pretty blatant (and sad) attempt at getting the people here to check out the new "taking my ball and going home" forum....

HAHAHAHA. What a sad, pathetic, lonely little manchild Andrew G Doe is. Honestly though, it's obvious he's got some uh. Screws loose? To put it crudely.... Dr. Billy C has been nothing but fair & balanced to an extreme extent. He must have a real long fuse. That sounds uh.

I liked the prequels better. Absolutely mediocre film. Anybody who thinks otherwise is just caught up in the hype.
Rey, Finn, and Poe are great characters, but they're basically wasted on what turned out to be a complete retread of A New Hope. Future Jedi with no hope for the future living on a desert planet finds a droid with information to help the rebellion leaves said desert planet on the Millennium Falcon and ends up helping destroy this planet destroying "spacecraft" that has some obvious flawed weak spot.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnn.
I get it, practical effects, Harrison Ford, etc, but no. The story did nothing to make the Star Wars universe a bigger place.
It's depressing that Jizzney completely ignored George Lucas' ideas for this new trilogy, because he always at least TRIED to make new stories. Can't say the same about Jar Jar Abrams and his emulation of the iconic films from decades past.
PS: sweetdudejim is a total fockin' tool.

People who have issue with "small dogs" are just as retarded and ignorant as people who have anything against "black people" or "Mexicans".
Yeah, I get it, you're trying to be "funny" or "witty" or "something". Hey, way to not be, you dolt.

Sorry, but anybody who is not as equally if not more scared of a Hillary Clinton presidency than they are a Trump presidency is a complete focking moron. Literally one of the most ignorant stupid doo doo dumb people who has ever lived.
Zero respect for anybody who is planning on voting for that wretched excuse for a politician who is Bill Clinton's wife.
Completely ignoring Benghazi and her email scandal, which by the way she 100% absolutely deserves to be indicted for, she has done literally NOTHING. NOTHING Yes, NOTHING, to make this country and this world a better place.
They would impeach Donald Trump in a second if he did something out of line. Hillary Clinton has hundreds of FBI/CIA/whatever else government agents investigating her actions right now, and there are idiot mother fockers with their heads all the way up to their nipples inside of their anuses that think that c-u-nt of a woman would make a better president than Donald Trump.
You would think most idiot Democrats MUST have noticed that the country under Barrack Obama is under than same path that it was under when George W. Bush was president. Hillary Clinton is just more of the same. Spiraling national debt, unrest in the Middle East, being forced to pay for-profit insurance companies our hard-earned money in the name of "healthcare".
This country is on a collision course with a pile of crap, and the speed at which it is headed there is increasing every day.
Donald Trump went from millions of dollars to billions. And Hillary went from, what? Staying with her husband who cheated on her dozens of times? Never sent an email with "classified" information, but doesn't have the intelligence to discern when something is "classified + 10"?
Anybody know countries that will accept political refugees with the dumb mo'fos elect the horrible, worthless human being known as Hillary Clinton as supreme leader of the free world? I would rather see this country burn from the outside than have to be a part of it.
ANYBODY BUT HILLARY IN 2016.
Don't be an idiot. This doesn't need to be the first "woman" president, just like the last few elections didn't need to be the first "black" president. You people are ruining the country way faster than the ignorants that are going to vote for Donald Trump....

Well.... On May, 16, 1966, my mom was a little more than 5 and a half years old. I'm not sure where I was on that date. I know it was nowhere peaceful, and nowhere pleasant.... It was violent and tight. Also smelly and full of fluids I don't currently want to breathe. Really? That's what you have to say about your mom's 5 1/2 year old ovaries? OMG, NO. You're sick disgusting!!! Not me mum's ovaries, I was talking about me 5 1/2 year old mum's ass farts!! Double yuck! ! ! ! !

People who wear clothes like that?
Who the f*** wears clothes like that, besides hipster cunts? I understand the popularity of a band like Oasis, but I don't understand the sh*t eating pretentiousness of those Gallagher broz cuntz and the people who would eat enough feces to buy and eat the fecal matter that constitutes the feces that is the fecality of the fece that fece fece that Wild Honey Jacket, etc that is sold thru "Pretty Green" WHich in my non-biased opinion would call "Feece Green" What the f*** kind of asscunt would pay 70+ dollars (not British pounds, that would cost even MORE) for a t-shirt that is no better than a Hanes 2 dollar.

So....
Maybe I'm the only one, but.....
I think world peace can be achieved by an Adam Marsland/Brian Wilson produced 2016 Beach Boys production.
I enjoyed the That's Why God Made The Radio album, but it was obviously a Brian Wilson solo venture featuring the voices of various Beach Boys....
This here "Kustom Kar Show" track that isn't on a Beach Boys album absolutely has the chutzpah to be considered a Beach Boys great, all it lacks is those vocal harmonies.....
Talk about missing the punt return!!!! Wow. This is the kind of music that needs to be on that BW R'N'R tribute album he's been talking about for the past few years......

I'm not a huge fan of the song writing & lyrics, .... But geetar-wise, and production-wise, this song SLAYS!!!!!
Holy crap. It's got the balls that Beach Boys songs have been completely lacking since about before the Today album....
Carl "Lead Guitar" Wilson may have been the lead guitarist of the band, but this David Marks fellow of Hawthorne, CA fellow was truly the soul of those early recordings.
Much love,
The progeny of 2 different Hawthorne High School students

Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Dennis Freakin' Wilson

This guy, Dennis Carl Wilson. The one guy in the band that surpassed brother/cousin Brian, in terms of songwriting/production. How fuckin' amazing/tragic was this guy's talent? Sure, he never attempted to write and produce a Smile album, and he never wrote a Catch A Wave or Fun, Fun, Fun.... Back in the day I would do some crazy "stuff" with friends, and I would make them listen to "River Song" or "Pacific Ocean Blues" or "Sound Of Free", or the instrumental version of "Holy Man". This guy, man. What the hell kind of wavelengths were the Wilson brothers tapping into.... If Brian Wilson made a deal with the devil for those songs, his brother Dennis was stealing the sounds of angels..... Can somebody listen to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MI3_F8Ll0Lg and not feel some sort of otherworldly influence? f***. So good. SO PERFECT. Truly perfect. I've always enjoyed the Beach Boys' hit singles, and always been a fan of music that spoke to my soul, but once I heard Billy C. mention the Pacific Ocean Blue album on a different band's completely different forum, I became a fan for life, and to him, I've always been eternally grateful. So in conclusion, I leave you with this tune that pulls at your heartstrings more than anything Brian Wilson has sent your way since the Pet Sounds album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPyk0AyFors

I hope all these messages clarify for our board member here that Carl is buried in one of the most historical and amazing places in all of the world among some of the most famous figures and entertainment history. I'm sure that between Andrew and me we have left out many many others.
Eh, it's amazing historically, but visually, it's an average-slightly-below-average cemetery. There's this one cemetery in the foothills of my old town that's full of turn of the century and older graves of people who built this town, and the setting is simply AMAZING for a cemetery. The cemetery where Carl Wilson is buried is pretty unspectacular in a visual sense, especially when you factor in the fact that a lot of people buried there should have tons of money to waste on extravagant graves in a breathtaking location..... here's a vid of Carl Wilson's grave, probably taken by a current or former SmileySmile.net board member: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAywCht7k1UHere

Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / This whole Van Dyke Parks vs. Good Vibrations cello triplets
|
on: July 13, 2015, 10:34:20 PM
|
I can't cite my sources, but would swear on my parents' lives that I read some place on the internet this Van Dyke Parks guy refused to write lyrics for the Good Vibrations tune because it was already being worked on before he entered the picture. (re-reading this sentence gave me a headache, but I'm sure the people with a modicum of understanding of the English language will get what I mean) So lemme get this straight, Dykey wouldn't write words for a melody that was already there, but would write some fuckin' currently non-existing musically cello part for the song? I mean, he probably did, and why the f*** refuse to write something as unimportant as verbal spewage, then be like YOU KNO WHAT WUD SOUND GOOD IS SUM TRIPLETING CHELLOEZ RITE HEERE. So in conclusion, discuss crotchety old men. (AGD excluded )

Funny how this guy is all completely obsessed with this unreleased hodgepodge of music and can't comprehend how people think that one Beatles album is as great as it's cracked up to be.
Huge Beach Boys fan here, not really into the Beatles at all. I think they're overrated as all hell. But I still dig the Sergeant Pepper album over the tracks that belonged to the abortion known as Smile.....
Comparing the success of Good Vibrations to the success of Heroes & Villains, I don't think the general public were ever ready for a Van Dyke Parks as lyricist for The Beach Boys album..... Regardless of how great you think Smile woulda coulda been had it been a thing that actually exists....
