my replacement box set has a damaged book!

has anyone else received the box set with a... "defective" book?

the book in my box set came with a torn page.

i chatted with amazon for a few minutes and they're sending me a new box that will be here tomorrow.

i am to then send back the box set with the damaged book.

i love Amazon.

i was listening to a talk radio show and they played "Don't Worry Baby" and it was the prettiest song I had ever heard.

that motivated me to get my hands on everything Beach Boys/Solo that i could.

i used to avoid these albums like the plague.  but then i received them when i won a Beach Boys vinyl auction on ebay.  i finally gave them both a fair shot and i can't get them out of my head.  sure there are some clunkers but there are some gems also.

i think i'm gonna go listen to them now.

i'm listening to it right now, they're playing "I Loves You, Porgy" at the moment.  and i jumped ahead a little and they're playing "They Can't Take That Away from Me."

the cool thing about the Artist Confidential was the artist takes questions from the crowd.

so not every question is necessarily going to be about the early pop stuff, and since they bring in fans for the audience, it should be good stuff.

this is the 2nd time Brian has been on XM Radio (as far as i can remember). 

he was on XM's Artist Confidential last year i believe.
