Could someone please tell me, are the mono/stereo versions of this track completely different recordings
  or is at least one track the same on both ?

 I now have all the 2012 remasters except Sunflower and Surfs Up. I bought them mainly for the mono.
 I would buy the 2 70's albums if I thought there was a significant difference in the new remastering.
 Has anyone got these, I would appreciate your comments.

      Just love the stereo SS. Although I too was dissapointed with the GV mix. If only Wild Honey could sound this good.

Er, going back to the remasters, I notice that the Amazon.co.uk release date is 24th August (this Friday) and the price for all CDs except Smiley Smile is listed at £18.91 (approximately $29.80). Can this be correct? If so, it kind of refutes the suggestion made here earlier that the price would drop by release date.

 As with all BB Stuff I listen mostly through headphones, I find I don't hear everything through my speakers.
 Maybe I need better speakers or a hearing test.

 Hey this is driving me crazy trying to think when I was first aware about tracks that would have been on Smile.
 Although I was already aware that GV and H&V would have been on it. I do know that when I bought 20/20
 in '69 the two ( Smile) tracks blew me away completely, and still do.

 Bill and Sue is my4th fave track on the album.

I would think the only way is to order direct form Japan online with your credit/debit card. Might be wise
to check the GBP/YEN exchange rate.

Did I read that the 2012 re issue of Pet Sounds would be HD. If this is so can anyone tell me if I played it on an average cd player
or through an ipod would I notice a lot of difference.
