I really honestly don't understand your motivation is Cam. What is at your centre? What drives you?
Cam? I'm fine, thanks for your concern. Did you have a Beach Boys question or comment? Cam thanks for letting me and subsequently those that read and participate on this board know that you are "fine". Although the fact that you are indeed fine may be relevant to you, it has no relevance to what I asked you. So please again if I may. Pertaining to your motivation ;What is at your centre? What drives you? And your question has no relevance to the thread so thanks but no thanks. Feel free to tell us your motivation, what is at your centre, what drives you if you wish, I guess. I was not active in this thread, I have not stated my opinion on the subject matter. I am merely intrigued at your responses and then became inquisitive as to how said responses are motivated. If I respond to posts it is normally a reflection of my inner thoughts, my centre, my beliefs if you will. I am intrigued at what drives you to continually post after post persist with a similar key motivatory factor which drives your input.

Thursday's concert gave the family and myself to experience a Brian Wilson with us all in attendance for the first time. My Wife and 4 (7,9,10,11) boys plus me. Having spent over $1000 on tickets alone it was money very well spent. Being at the back was different to where I was seated on Tuesday but allowed great viewing and a more orchestral experience. The comparison to Tuesday would be that the band was tighter, they are so good at their craft that even if they are tired and or off they can still pull it together. No need to pull it together on Thursday , they were flying! Paul made a reference at the encore to the foolish SMH "journalist" by stating that they are not too old! Brian was more talkative during songs but to me sounded just as good as he did on Tuesday. The crowd was more receptive with several standing ovations which Brian would talk over to get the show moving along. I once again had the pleasure of attending the after show gathering, all the guys were great and most were in attendance, no kick on shenanigans at the pub like Tuesday as I was still recovering!

My thoughts on the Sydney show. First of all the EXPERIENCE was wonderful, the venue the context and the performance was memorable experience for my fellow guest and I. Now on to the little things. Scheduling- I raised this prior to the tour's commencement, this first Sydney show was always going to be the one that was at risk of the lag factor. To play at the Opera House after arriving less than 8 hours before at the age of 73 was at best poorly thought out. Then to arrive in the pouring rain and a few hours later sound check then show...
Performance- In my opinion was slightly effected by the scheduling, though the band did a stellar job as always. Brian looked anxious and showed signs of it, which to those that know him or are familiar with his mannerisms can be picked up . The band knew Brian was feeling really anxious, a day to settle in, get ready for Sydney was a better option. Brian definitely reacted after the GOK's standing ovation. Overall it wasn't a bad Brian effort, he loves The Opera House and was really fucking trying at times to get through his feelings and get it out to the audience. It added so much to me the effort he was giving and most that I spoke to had seen the movie and where delighted that he could even be there to deliver his music. I disagree with Jonathan with extreme prejudice. And I have two spares and you aint getting one!
"That review"- Anyone that thinks Foskett was better than Matt is a fucking idiot! And clearly shows where this "reviewers" allegiances lay. Foskett was a prick! And whilst I personally think Matt's vocals are not close to Brian's they are a different sound and it sounds good and pure and very sweet.... Maybe to sweet for my ears. But the band loves him!
I am going to enjoy tonight, I look forward to another great performance of the greatest album of all time!

Wow guys, this is all comic gold. Great work here. Did it every cross any of your minds' that some people would still rather hear from Rocky than endure your self-satisfied, holier-than-thou crap, no matter what he's done in the past or what tone he takes in the present? Great job, everyone. You're picking on an old former male model on an Internet message board. Talk about speaking truth to power! What crusaders you are. Now, take some of the insinuations made here about Rocky -- what he's done in his past, how he's made a living, the quality of his genitals -- and imagine the tables were turned, and we were discussing a woman whose trajectory intersected with the Beach Boys. Would some of this pompous, bullying bullsh!t seem quite so appropriate? Meanwhile, the backslapping continues. HAHAHA that was a good one! You're so enlightened! Rocky is sooooo stoopid. Hyuk! Oh, PLEASE. Give me an effing break. To be clear, I'm actually with you on the sexual things - I haven't gone there - but the attempted bullying and condescension started with one Rushton Pamplin. He was given a fair hearing - I was one of the ones who called for that in the beginning - but past a certain point, some goofball posting in a patronizing way attempting to make *you* his biotch, when he's got absolutely no call to, deserves exactly what he gets in return. I actually think he's kind of enjoying it too. I haven't noticed Mr. Pamplin being in any way deterred from his posting - nor you from reading those posts - by the hilarity that has gone on on the sidelines. Which is totally, absolutely, completely justified. This

That Beach Boys project that didn't materialize was a musical which Stamos was trying to make happen which would have been produced by the same Zadan-Meron-Stamos production team that was responsible for the 2000 TV movie.
Edit: The project is/was titled "All Summer Long" and actually got bought by Fox 2000 back in 2010. Edit #2: As of this month, the film musical project is still in development according to reports.
This is one of the worst ideas I could imagine - that production team doing a BBs musical? I am so creeped out, I am going for a walk to get some fresh air. How was the walk? I feel a lot better after the fresh air - thanks, unless I think about the possibility of that film musical project. Then my flu symptoms come back in a huge way! Tonight, no doubt, it will be nightmares. I never made it thru that hideous tv series. These were people I knew and loved during that time period portrayed. To see the grotesque caricatures of real people whom I cared about wasn't bearable beyond 5-10 minute increments. There was this hideous humorous aspect to these cartoon characters if I stepped back, but when I thought about the people supposedly on the screen, it was a mix of rage and horror - kind of like my reaction to the details of that 2005 lawsuit. I have discussed this at times with various people and the human being element of this, at times sad adventure, seems to be lost on some. These are not fictional characters in some badly written book.
