This seriously cracked me up, nice job LOL

I wonder how they would react to a burglar or a fire in the kitchen.

The CAPTCHA I had to enter to upload that was "heebie-jeebies"....now I have them.

Happy birthday, Brian! Thank you for all the happiness you've provided us with over the years. Much love!

You lucky people who get to be there in Montreal tomorrow Grin I really hope they/you sing Happy Birthday to him!

I was thinking about whipping up a couple CDs consisting of 70 songs from the Beach Boys, his solo albums, and some of his favorites he's mentioned.

Going to listen to Brian and the boys live, in Montreal!

I genuinely laughed out loud after seeing what your user name is....well done.

It is so cool reading everyone's reviews from these concerts, seeing how excited everybody gets...a good chunk of us weren't even born back when they were creating all this amazing music, and look at what we're getting to experience now. It blows my mind! I love this group of guys so freaking much Happy Dance

I looove the part in Heroes and Villains right after they all harmonize (4:17 to the end): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=blRPcqg6-94

The middle of God Only Knows.
11  Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Re: Brian's Back on: June 16, 2012, 03:51:29 AM
I thought this was going to be a thread about Brian's physical state and his recent back issues...then I saw that it's a thread from 2008 LOL

It's a cute and corny song, but I like it, particularly the "You Still Believe in Me" ending. Carl's voice was just so perfect.

I noticed that guy singing along, too; was that you with this curly hair, bopping up and down, seltaeb? Grin

Sounds like a cool little concert!
13  Smiley Smile Stuff / Concert Reviews / Re: Show 27: Bonnaroo Festival - Manchester, TN 6/10/12 on: June 10, 2012, 07:28:01 PM
It really was a bit nightmare-ish. To anyone here who went, if I stepped on you or your stuff, my apologies! LOL

That's a fantastic picture, and so is the one with Brian and those girls. I wish I had seen their bus! Do they tour with three buses? My aunt said she saw a bright green one, an orange one, and another one being escorted into the back of the festival by police cars and she thinks it may have been them.

Absolutely enormous. After the Boys were done, most people stayed put for Bon Iver, who played at 5:30. It took me at least 25 minutes to get way over to the side so I could find a spot to sit in the grass...it was very stressful, haha! People really pack together at these shows.
15  Smiley Smile Stuff / Concert Reviews / Re: Show 27: Bonnaroo Festival - Manchester, TN 6/10/12 on: June 10, 2012, 07:04:49 PM
The crowd was incredible. I stood in front of some guys who were singing along to every single thing; Heroes and Villains, Sail on Sailor, even Kokomo Grin Everyone was so enthusiastic, dancing and singing, and David's guitar playing really made everyone cheer. He's too cool.

It was also neat to hear everyone acknowledging Brian when he was introduced, whenever he sang solo, or when he got up to play bass.
16  Smiley Smile Stuff / Concert Reviews / Re: Show 27: Bonnaroo Festival - Manchester, TN 6/10/12 on: June 10, 2012, 06:54:22 PM
Oh gosh, the video I took would probably make you dizzy because of how shaky it is, but I'll see what I can do. No promises, though! :D

By the way, no Arcade Fire cover.

Brian played bass for Barbara Ann and Fun, Fun, Fun which was cool!

And it was Mike who said, "As we used to say in southern California: that was bitchin!" I don't know what prompted whoever it was to say/tweet that Mike was acting like a douche...maybe because he kept talking to the crowd, but he wasn't being douchey. He was awesome, IMO.

When Help Me, Rhonda started I shouted at Al to sing from his heart...I'm just gonna tell myself that he heard me, because he sang the hell out of it Grin

What a freaking amazing show that was. I don't even have words right now, I'm still in awe over it! This whole festival thing is so not my scene, but today the atmosphere at the stage was incredible and I loved every second of it. I also managed to get in the very first row behind the pit, along the rail, probably less than 50 yards from the center of the stage. I hope all of y'all who went had fun!

I was SO paranoid yesterday because the weather forecast said there was a 60% chance of thunderstorms all day. The only time it rained noticeably was during God Only Knows...it seriously lasted pretty much only the duration of that song and then stopped.

Good lord, that was amazing. Can't say it enough!

Kokomo, Some of Your Love, Endless Harmony, Barbara Ann (is that cheesy?), Still Cruisin'...there are very fews songs I really don't like. And this isn't cheesy so much as it is completely bizarre, but I really like My Solution.
20  Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Re: SiriusXM Beach Boys Weekend LIVE as it Happens...Post Here on: May 25, 2012, 09:20:38 PM
Does Sirius require a credit card number for the free signup? Or can you sign up without one?

Nope, all you need is your email address: http://www.siriusxm.com/freetrial They'll give you a password and it's yours free for a week.

I'm really impressed with the songs they've been playing! Wish I had Sirius for a normal radio...I plan on being outside all weekend and don't trust my laptop by the pool.

12345 is valid!

This is sounding good. Not fond of the autotune obviously, but what can you do Tongue
22  Smiley Smile Stuff / Concert Reviews / Re: Beach Boys - Bonnaroo 2012 June 7-10 on: May 17, 2012, 03:32:07 PM
The Beach Boys Facebook page still lists 6/9 and 6/10 as Bonnaroo performance dates, but the Bonnaroo website only shows the Boys performing on the 10th (3:00 - 4:30 PM). Is Sunday the only day they'll be there?

I love the occasional big grin Brian gives  Grin I'm finding this enjoyable despite the host.

Sorry for any repeats! Found a bunch that I'd collected, mostly from Tumblr, on a USB.

Bruce and Al sounded amazing. They all did, but I was really impressed with Disney Girls and Cotton Fields. And it may have been my excitement preventing me from hearing anything wrong, but I didn't hear B-Pain tonight! It was so great. I wanted to cry when he sang Surfer Girl, haha.
