How the hell is Be Still worse than the instrumentals

Because "Passing By" is one of B-Dub's most beautiful post-Smile compositions, and Diamond Head is a weird nod to Martin Denny, which is awesome.  Those are my reasons, anyway!

More importantly for the rest of us--and this is directed at anyone who might know--when will they begin to actually make corrected sets available?  I've held out because of this disc problem, and would rather not have to go through the whole disc replacement hassle.  My apologies if this has already been covered and I missed it.

B-Dub

The 4th time I see Brian being called like this. Tried searching the board for its origin, couldn't find anything. Any idea what's that mean? Obviously, B is Brian & Dub is..? Reference to the studio work? 

Pretty sure I'm responsible for this (I'm sorry).  Think "B. Dubya" as in "B.W." but shortened to give the man more street cred.

Wouldn't the group be together if Brian ended the tour? Brian wanted to make a new BBs album before C50 ended. All of Mike's complaints the last few months add up to a man not happy with C50. Even Jon Stebbins said Mike rejected further C50 offers.

Nope. Just like Smile, Brian killed the 50th Anniversary Tour.

2Menace Wilson, original poster: with all respect, but I think you asked an incorrect question. You forgot to add "considered to be" after "Fans". Every fanbase consists of various people with different characters. Though some would say "What is the band - the same are the fans". I agree with it in some way, OK, but nevertheless, it's unfair to oversimplify the things labeling each band & its fans as "this" or "that" imo.

Fair enough. 

Is it because of the persecution we suffer ("Good god, you actually like all that surfing and cars junk?!?")?

Is it because the band tends to make infuriating career choices?

Is it because we've all read the books and heard all the bootlegs and therefore think we're experts?

What's your take...how come we BBs fans tend to behave like female dogs to one another? 

I live in Dallas. Could I have gone if I wanted to? Of course it says private show so I assume not.

Me too.  My heart sank when I found out BW played less than 15 minutes from where I live and I knew nothing about it.  Hell, I'd have even just listened from the parking lot.

I had never seen much of this footage before, so I'm passing it along in case others haven't.
