Tracking hasn't been updated in 3 days.

I wonder if the importcds.com orders have left California yet.  
They were only shipped 5 days ago, so I can see why it's a question.

I agree.  "Shipped" Aug 21, three days later its still in California, and a delivery date of Aug 30.
6 days from now.  9 days from being "shipped."

Great stuff, Matt Bielewicz.  I'm trying not to spoil the box for myself so I'll live through your words until my box arrives.

Going further, why the hell would you include two Smile Sessions pieces that weren't even good enough to make the standard Two-CD set? Again, probably because they're assuming there's enough people out there that purchased the 2 CD set and this box, but not the full Smile Sessions package. Either way, it's still a waste of time/money. We would've been better off with thirteen minutes of cuts that were on the previous career spanning boxed set that aren't on this one. "Still I Dream Of It" for example...

I agree.  This is why I'm making my own 6-disc "Made in California" box when I'm done mining this one.  I really look forward to the project.  

My importcds.com package is on the move.. but it's coming from California to Michigan.
So anyone who ordered from importcds.com, the closer you are the California, the
sooner you'll get it.

I canceled my cheaper AmazonUK order and went with importcds.com a couple reasons.
1) Someone posted here that they claimed the box was 'in stock' and sure enough it was.
They sent out Nilsson boxes 6 days before release date and did so again here.
2) AmazonUK has a release date a week after the US and it took 9-10 days for them
to get me my Nilsson box.  So I figured I'd pay about $17 more to get it early next week
than wait until Sept 10-11.

I just got an email from ImportCDs.com that my box shipped.

We haven't heard much about anything.  I've yet to read a review where the author appears to have
actually listened to the box set.  They just seem to get their info from the press release.  Nothing new.

Best idea is to wait around until you're fairly certain there aren't any left before you try to order it

I have an order in at Amazon UK for what was $86US, it's now $91US since our dollar keeps sinking in value.

I'd order from importcds.com in hopes of getting it earlier, but while they shipped out Nilsson boxes early,
they were then on backorder for a long time and those people had a long wait after the initial few got theirs
(in this case, about 83).

Just listened to it. It's good though as said before, it does kinda peter out at the end.

Seems like they have it online though. $118 which I believe is the new low NA price for the set.

Sure, they'll have it online.  But you won't be able to walk into a store and find one.

Of course, the list of six genuinely new tracks is now down to five, as I've just spoiled myself with a listen to 'Where Is She'!!

And "I Believe in Miracles" is 20 seconds long.  So scratch that off as well.

Best Buy, Barnes and Noble and Target seem like they will have it.
