Is this an alternate spelling for "Psychedelic"?

What's cool is where the crowd of screaming fans join in a clearly audible singalong -- that says an awful lot about the power of the music. I'm thinking GOK has always been an oldie for that audience, and very few of them (if any) were around to see Carl Wilson sing it live. And yet, they know the song.

Re the artwork revealed -- beautiful, simply beautiful.

There should also be a "Happy Birthday" (to David) in that setlist, towards the end...

I agree with the general sentiment here. Thanks to David, Carrie, Jez and the rest of the band for a great show! And come back soon, y'all. 

"Waves of Love" is the song with Carl Wilson on backing vocals. And, yes, "California Dreamin'" is another one of the bonus tracks.

I listened to "Heigh-Ho, etc." three times using the link on Brian's site (http://brianwilson.com/disney/).

I hear Brian's voice in the mix in places. That track has some major Spike Jones influence, methinks. Kind of appropriate considering that the Beach Boys' and Spike Jones' stars are next to each other on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 

Brian's voice sounds much more relaxed and natural on this recording.

I'm in agreement with Adam.

In his prime, imho, Carl was every bit as good-lookin' as Dennis (albeit in his own way). But it was much more than good looks with Carl, it was the genuiness of his personality that was appealing as much as anything.

David performs Dennis' "You and I" in concert, made a recording of it too.

What there is, in place, is an eternal Carl Wilson solo album tour going on in the beyond since the day he died on earth.

My version of the "opposite place" is being stuck in an elevator with dreary instrumental (i.e., muzak) versions of BB songs being played loudly.

I know aljardine.com used to have a verison of "California Dreamin" up on the previews page with Crosby on it, maybe that is a bonus track.

Yes, that's one of the bonus tracks, along with "Waves of Love." Also, a reworked version of "Sloop John B" from Al's book of the same title.

I've heard that there will be three bonus tracks, including one with Carl vocals. ESQ has coverage of the upcoming release in the latest issue.

I agree about the album name. Hope Brian doesn't wind up competing with himself.... maybe the sales of the Smile Sessions will spur sales of the other.

Carl and Al are good singers/musicians, but for the most part they are boring to look at on stage.

I beg to differ, bigtime, especially in Carl's case! He had plenty of stage presence, especially for us gals. I've always enjoyed watching Carl and Al perform, especially when they were singing leads.

I know you've heard me say this before, but ... Wild Honey is my favorite album of all time, by any artist. WH rules!

I feel that stress from the whole Landy experience may have contributed to Carl's untimely demise.
