Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Brian solo box set

Anyone know if this is a product that will see light of day? I know Brian has plenty of unreleased material that would be perfect for this kind of release along the lines of what we've gotten in recent years with BB sets. One can hope and dream for more.

PS: what about a fan club subscription service if rare releases in many formats to service the fans.. flac/wav/mp3.
Back in 2006, before I was a member here, there was a plan to make a website/subscription service called Beach Boys Central for that purpose, but it never came to fruition. That is correct sir, shame really. Perfect way to get more rarities released!

Some other tracks that may exist that were inexplicably left off the Feel Flows set. Hope these see the light of day soon:
- Alternate versions of Cool, Cool Water - Back Home (Version 4, recorded mid-late 1971) - Don't Go Near the Water (Demo) - Long Promised Road (Demo) - Lookin' at Tomorrow (A Welfare Song) (Demo) - Country and Western (An early 1969 Carl recording featuring many overdubbed guitars) - Susie Cincinnati (Early version, recorded 12/24/69) - Dennis' Piano Interlude (WIBNTLA Demo) - Barnyard Blues (Early Version) - San Miguel (Early version, recorded 1/9/69)

Worth noting is that several of the original 1995-ish Paley versions, including both "Gettin' In Over My Head" and "You're Still a Mystery", are posted on Brian's website. There's over a disc's worth of rare Brian solo stuff spread out on the website that was posted in the last couple years. Would be the nice beginning of a solo rarities boxed set.
I've just been thinking the same thing! 😏

Not expecting any new box set this year. I'm sure they would've announced it by now for the holiday shopping season. No idea on a copyright dump, we can only hope for something. 🤞 Other murmurs on the net say the next set may come in 2026 (if at all). We could all be gone by then the way things are going (though I certainly hope not). A painfully long wait IMO because I want to hear everything they ever recorded like tomorrow! I wish they'd do some subscription based thing like the Grateful Dead or the once talked about "Beach Boys Central" rarities website. *sigh*
