Hey, guys, I've been lurking here for a while - learning a lot - and decided to make an account recently. I've been a huge Beach Boys fan for quite some time now and a brianista. Hope to be able to join your discussion threads and talk to you. Thank you for the board and the opportunity of reading you Hello, neighbour (I'm from Argentina), and welcome!

It's so perfect and fitting that Mike Love gets *top* billing among the guest stars. It appears as though the BBs are listed first before the other actors, and are listed individually and alphabetically, *except* for Mike, who is listed first. Then he's followed by Al, Bruce, Brian, and Carl in that order alphabetically. I guess it's because he has more lines than the others?

I once had I dream that my sister was their producer or something like that. It was now but it was also 1996 and we knew it would be the last time we would see Carl alive. We were in my high school after a concert and Carl came to us to say goodbye, and thanked my sister for her good work. I told him "remember that she's also responsible for SIP" and he shrugged like "yeah, nevermind". Carl was shorter than me.

Didn't we do a thread here a year or two ago with an article where Macca admitted that, yes, he did go to the studio back then and chew on some veggies?
There's no discussion about it. What the OP wants to know if there are recordings of Paul chatter during those sessions.

Dennis is visually the "star" of the band that all the girls were screaming for. He is on top (the epitome of cool) and wearing the flashiest "look at me" sweater. He wants to be noticed.
Brian, clearly the standout, is wearing a sweater that is in stark contrast to all the other guys. Looking at the image, we know he is the leader. His tree decoration skills are like his recording skills. Meticulous and done with extreme care. Everything has to be there the way he sees it in his head. Everything must have a purpose.
Mike is confidently on the opposite side of the tree - mimicking his commercial yin to Brian's creative yang. Interestingly, he has always had a competition with Dennis and here he is looking up at him, admiring Dennis' skills and perhaps subliminally acknowledging Dennis' superiority in some areas?
Carl, the self-conscious, chubby kid seems unsure of himself at this point unaware of what he is to become. He does not quite have Dennis' flashy sweater, but still has a more subdued version that is saying, I am not looking for too much attention but I am not to be overlooked, either.
Al, undeservedly, often gets overlooked and is down in the corner at Brian's feet, learning and emulating his style. He seems like the happiest one to be involved and until further examination, most do not realize what a great job he is doing.
Wow!

I do not get the dislike for Seasons in the Sun. I think it's a KILLER tune. I was unfamiliar with the original version upon hearing the BBs' version for the 1st time, so I brought no preconceived notions/feelings when I heard it. Carl gives a great vocal, it has great backing vocals, and it's a pretty joyous type of tune. Maybe it veers a bit into the saccharine Brady Bunch/Partridge Family type of territory, just a tiny bit... but I still love it and really am baffled why people don't think it's a great tune.
I love it!

... There is one hilarious account which is no longer active (and I'm trying to find it but it might be gone now) which tweeted as if it was an episode guide to a (made up) Beach Boys tv show. I read that whole account from the first tweet to the last and laughed out loud big time. I'll keep looking for that one, and I'll post it if I find it.
https://mobile.twitter.com/bbsitcomYep, that's the one! Thanks That was my account. I stopped tweeting because it seemed that there wasn't much of an audience for it. It's cool to know that someone was reading it and enjoying it. Somewhere I have a bunch that I never got around to tweeting. Perhaps one of these days I will look for them and put them up. Keep doing it if you have the time! I read it last night, it's quite funny.

I've just signed in Twitter, and been looking someone good to follow.
Now I have some questions:
・Who are good to follow when you want some discussions/news about music, especially related to Beach Boys? ・Who are good to follow when you want some funny stuff?
Stupid questions though, I'm glad if some of you answer me.
BB related: @thevandykeparks @beachboyslegacy Funny stuff: @XplodingUnicorn @savagechickens @WorstLastWords And I have just found this: @beachboysvine (funny and BB related)
