Surfer Joe - no need to curb the jokes...I know as well as anyone that David doesn't take himself all that seriously...or least not back then, anyway. Just don't compare him to Pete Best or diss his guitar chops...everything else is fair game as far as I’m concerned. And yes, David has responded better to my pleas than he did to Murry's...I think it's because I shave my legs. Murry always refused to go that far.
LOL! Carrie, that was too funny! Welcome to the board!

I wanted to learn to play guitar........so I bought these DVD's, both of them. They actually are not that hard to learn from, they explain while they go along, which is cool. when I get the urge to play I put the dvd in. The hardest is the fun, fun, fun beginning. I need to get some thinner strings, tho. I have these big bulky strings they put on a beginners electric guitar ( I know nothing about guitar strings, I just know that they are big and hard on my fingers). But it's fun to play along with the music eventually.

I haven't messed with that yet using this new software, but I had an earlier version of soundlblaster in my old computer, I remember having to use "what you hear" for recording when I wanted a song to go from my realplayer to the wave studio, also if you want to record a song to send to the wave studio and you are singing on a mic, I always had to use "what you hear". I don't know the fundamentals of it, I need someone to tutor me about this program, because there is alot one can do with it, I just have to sit down on the weekends and learn about it, the old soundblaster was trial and error learning.

At first, I had ALOT of trouble with the bass sounding distorted, and at first I thought my SS was already messed up, but after realizing that I also have window media, real player, rhapsody, and music match, and they ALL have equalizers, and all the equalizers were turned on. I turned off all the equalizers except for the soundblaster, and it worked better. It may be coincidence, I don't know alot about the audio on this computer, but it did help some.

I listen to rap, because my kids listen to rap. Some songs are actually quite good. I love the old school stuff; Gangstas paradise, still an old run DMC fan, Ludacris, Eminem. It's a whole different world than rock.

aaaannndddyyy! ooopppiiiee! Aunt Bea rocked! Michael Jackson would be considered a true falsetto. I can't handle Frankie Valli's falsetto-my son laughs every time he hears a 4 seasons song, he says it sounds like someone is in the studio standing there with a pair of pliers planted on frankie's.......certain parts.....and when they need falsetto, they clamp down . Brian's falsetto is seamless and natural sounding. I love it.
