It's a great easy listening album to me. No masterpiece but a great de-stresser.

At the time of this video (December), one track of Fred's with vocals was being considered for the boxset, so we might see that on the tracklist. It sounds shockingly good.

Don't know how to take Fred's "this one happened to survive" comment (he previously said he still had all of the tapes), but it's looking like whatever's there has been digitally transferred and will probably make it out in some form before the end of the year.

Not a country fan but that was pretty cool to hear.

By the way, it finally hit me who Fred reminds me off...the late Richard Harrison aka the Old Man from Pawn Stars. 

This insanity would be the perfect soundtrack for a David Lynch movie.

It'd fit perfect in Forbidden Zone, a movie I really need to see all off (Just have seen a few clips.)

Favorite: Pet Sounds
Least Favorite: Summer in Paradise although 85 is real bad too. That at least has Getcha Back though.
Overrated: I guess 20/20? Doesn't have good album flow.
Underrated: Surf's Up. Might be better then Sunflower.

Love hearing San Miguel in such clean quality. The GV box set was really my intro into the deep fandom but the songs on there are so muddy.

I don't believe in petitions (waste of time imo) but this is pretty low even for Mike and the band. To support this kind of wild animal activity is horrific and the animal heads shot off my trophy hunters is bad too.

Man, his voice just gets more tired and tired every year. He wasn't half bad on Love and Mercy from Miami but...he sounds like a nearly 80 year old man would sound

Just got my ticket to the Beacon Theatre show! I’m really excited! Friends and Surf’s Up are my two favorite non-Pet Sounds/SMiLE Beach Boys albums. A tour/show like this was something I always hoped would happen, but that I never thought would actually happen.
