My name is Laura Cushing, and I write a weekly music column called Soundtracking. We're currently having a contest to give away a lovely signed Beach Boys lithograph. All you have to do to enter is to sign up for my column (it's fast/free and doesn't involve any spam) on Gather.com , and leave a comment on the contest article sharing one of your favorite Beach Boys memories! You can enter as many times as you like; one memory per comment. The contest runs until October 10th, and the winner will be announced on October 19th.

I wanted to share this with you because I know you doubtlessly have some wonderful memories to share. Though it will be hard to choose a winner, I think even nicer than the contest itself is getting to hear so many great stories about how these music icons have touched our lives.
