Gina has remarried twice since Carl died.  She married Jason Heathman in the early 2000's.  She was listed as Gina Wilson Heathman in the 2003 Carl Wilson Foundation booklet by that name.  In 2001, Gina attended the CWF Walk and was still listed as Gina Wilson in the photo.  So, it was sometime between 2001 and 2003 that she remarried.  From a reliable source in BB's world, they had said that Gina and Heathman split and he later died.  She remarried again to someone named Rick Romano sometime after March of 2009.  Here's a photo:  https://www.blacktie-colorado.com/photos/photodetail.cfm?id=96172&partyID=2139

Someone had said they saw her in 2012 at one of the Beach Boys' concerts out west.  Red Rocks, I believe.  Other than this, the trail ends on her.

I haven't read it yet, but someone who had said that Mr. Crowley listed Carl's year of death as 1996.  I've heard of several typos and factual errors in it.
I've barely scanned the book.

I've seen from way back on this thread that Justyn Wilson was interviewed for the book.  It seems that Gina has moved on since Carl passed and the word is that she's remarried twice since then.  Otherwise, she's practically dropped off the planet.  Nobody ever speaks of her in Beach Boys fandom.

If anybody has any info on her, please feel free to share it!

jeffh, the same thing happened to me.  I canceled it because of the poor reviews on it, amazon sent me a confirmation of the cancelation and then they sent it anyway.  They apologized, told me that they credited my account and to not send the book back.  Then, I had one on pre-order that didn't show up on my account or I'd have canceled that one, too.  They sent that one also.  Same result when I went on chat with them.  Keep the book.  Sell it, donate it or give it as a gift.  We don't want it back.

Could that response from amazon be because of so many people canceling their orders you think?

Carl is my favorite Beach Boy.  I can't get enough of his voice and he makes everything he sings extra special and beautiful.  This is really a tough topic because there's so many songs that are just incredible.

I guess my number one song would be God Only Knows.  Though Brian and Tony Asher penned this beauty, Carl made it his own because he always sang it.

Heaven is superb.  Love the lyrics, the soft melody and that voice.  Hurry Love, from his first solo album is another soft one that just has me melting whenever I hear it - a kind of sitting on the beach drifting away kind of song.  What You Do To Me and One More Night Alone, from his 2nd album, Youngblood, are very good.  WYDTM is fine example of how versatile and strong Carl's vocals were.  Towards the end of the song, it's incredible!

Some really great vocal achievements from Carl would have to be in Surf's Up, All This Is That (the Brian's back part that was added in 1976).  The ending part really astounds me.  But, I have to say that the number one song for me would have to be his background vocals from Elton John's Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me.  Towards the end of the song, at the crescendo, with the ahs and oohs, Carl's voice doubles perfectly with the french horns.  Just superb!  Goosebumps.
