Smiley Smile Stuff / Concert Reviews / Quick 80's or early 90's Concert Question

Hey Folks,
Would anyone happen to know the date of the Beach Boys show at Thompson Boling Arena in Knoxville, TN? That was my first concert as a kid, I have the ticket, but no year is printed on the ticket. Any info and which members would have been there would be great.
What I do remember is that Carl was there, Mike was there and during 'California Girls' they paraded young women out in all kinds of costumes.
Thanks for your help, take care!
Dan

Smiley Smile Stuff / 1970's Beach Boys Albums / Re: Endless Summer

I've always loved this album, the cover, the music - it was the tape my parents would pop in as soon as we got close to the beach when I was a kid. For me, it was the perfect introduction to what would become my favorite band.
I would love to clear up if indeed the three men on the cover are Al, Brian and Mike? The 'blonde' looks like Al, Brian is definitely Brian and I assume the last on to be either Carl or Mike. It just seems like Mike was given more hair than I thought he had at that point? I assume Dennis is on the surfboard and Carl must be the guy reading? Any clarification would be great. Thanks!

Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Carl Autograph and 12 String Ric

Hello All,
I'm brand new to this site and am psyched to finally have a place to share my thoughts on a truly incredible band! My parents introduced me to 'Endless Summer' at age 4 and for the past 23 years I've been faithfully listening and attending shows as they come around.
Recently I put together a large (4.5 feet long framed) collection of Beach Boys signed memorabilia but found out the autogrpahed Carl album I have is not authentic. I was wondering if anyone might have something signed by Carl that they'd be willing to sell me. I'm willing to pay a reasonable price.
In addition, I wondered if anyone around here might have the Carl Wilson Memorial Rickenbacker 360 12 string guitar that they no longer want to keep. I've been scouring eBay and the internet in general but cannot find one available.
Thanks for your time, I look forward to participating in the future!
Dan
