Point of order: every fan version of "Ecology" I've ever heard isn't much like the real thing.

Care to elaborate on your impressions of the full version? Would love to get a grasp on what he was reaching for with this piece....

Has anyone figured out what site is selling tickets to the 7/17 and 7/18 Boston Symphony Hall shows w/ The Boston Pops?  I assume they will go on presale tomorrow, but haven't even found a stub for the show on Ticketmaster or anything...

Yes, still got it. Am updating my old album covers website into PDF format for downloading so am going though all my old files, including this interview, for inclusion. Will let you know when I come across it...

Great!, Thanks so much for taking the time to do that! By the way, is this an interview you conducted? or was this originally released to the press in 79? Did it show up in a mag or fanzine back then?

As Mr. Desper eluded too earlier in the post, Dennis' Lead in "Got To Know The Woman" always struck me as pretty buried, even for DW's standards....

Ahh man, I think it's a campy pastiche of the surf style! Haha

Another number connected to a 70's midnite movie classic is "Tuff Little Surfer Boy" which feathered Little Nell from Rocky Horror.  It was recorded under the name of Truth and Beauty and released on the UK RAK label. Surf meets death disc all rolled in one!

Visited the park earlier this summer and was really blown away with all the big names. Don Knotts had a great plaque with a beautifully etched plaque with all his famous characters portrayed. Rodney Dangerfield was prominent and can just picture him picking this spot as one last up yours to all those that stood in his way they out his zany life.

Carl's grave is positioned in he back left corner, under the shade of a beautiful tree. Very peaceful vibes at this place, I must say.

Got a few 2nd row tix for the upcoming Rochester,NY show in October, but checked back a few times on the ticket site and see they have only sold 30 or so tix! Hope that it's just some error with the site or else I don't see a show happening!
