"Won't You Tell Me" sounds like The Association — and that's a complement!

I love that track,it teared me up, it was so unexpected. I don’t know the background or when it was recorded, but it sounds very much like a lost gem. Brian’s vocals and backing, sounds so poignant.  I would like to thank Amazon for not cancelling my order and delivering “Feel Flows”, today earlier than expected! A wonderful, unexpected surprise

Sorry, bit late with this reply but when I bought "Love You" back in 77, I was a new fan and didn't know Good Time was an old track! I thought it was Al singing and I remember thinking at the time I wished the rest of the albums vocals were as good as this!

I have many guilty pleasure Beach boys songs but I just love Solar System . It's something about that  moog base, the sometimes wobbly background harmonies and the child like lyrics. I love astronomy but that track gets me every time. I was shocked to find out it was my most played Spotify track in 2016!

Just reading this thread makes me want to play it again. I love this album I played it yesterday and at least every week prior to this.

I still remember the day I bought the LP. It was my first Beach Boys Album I bought on release day.
First impressions were, "who is that old chap with the croaky vocals" , can't be Brian? At this point I had not yet bought "15 Big ones" so was not use to the more "mature" sounding Brian.  I loved the synth sounds and moog bass. It was when I listened to Solar System that everything clicked. The rough vocals and nursery rhyme lyrics with the slightly wobbly but great sounding harmonies and it hit me that this is a gem, ahead of its time. I couldn't stop playing it. My family had no ideal it was the Beach Boys , they thought it sounded like one of the new age/punk bands that were around at that time.

Lovely documentary by Eagle vision/BBC. Just finished watching for the second time,  Brian looks very relaxed with some nice viewpoints from Bruce, Al and Mike. Definitely worth buying on DVD when/if it comes out, hopefully with some extras.

Never! But there are times when I suddenly realise I haven't played any Beach boys for a few days and I immediately have to put that right.....  My life is not complete without the Boys  !

I need another listen, but I quite liked Country Love.  Both albums should be released good or bad.

Guess I'm Dumb. I knew the Wondermints version of Guess I'm Dumb before the original. As soon as I heard it I thought it was a Brian track not knowing he wrote it (with Russ Titelman). The Wondermints version is actually pretty good. I also love the instrumental version on MIC.

Solar System. Loving Astronomy  I 've always liked the farty base, the nursery rhyme style and lyrics about the planets. Its funny, simple but very clever. The chorus of wall to wall Brian's(?) harmonies are great. Definitely not Brian's best song but one I think is underrated. I can't stop playing it.

I like it. Was very surprised how good it sounded. Okay, lots of processing but it does smooth away some of the "old man voice" vocal. I might even buy it !
