Lonely Summer -  They played alot of the " after baseball shows"  in that time period.
Carl told me that "they stink" and if he had his way he would not do the 'baseball shows", the stage was always set up to far away from the audience and he didn't like that presentation !   At least you got to see the band when it was The Beach Boys .... no more thou

Jay - Yes Carl did sit in a chair often that final summer. Also he & his wife Gina did the 1997  summer tour by tour bus & didn't fly between  concerts with the others.  He made most of the summer shows but did miss some.
Even thou Carl hadn't smoked for 10 years it  along with second hand smoke from playing smokey venues in earlier days  were the cause .

If you have 93 show does it have the flaming volcano  ? Is it a full show ?  I would like to get it if you do have it then.. (will pay u postage etc) thanks Man !

1993 had a flaming volcano for most of the show and the old corvette front end on the car medley... this  was an awesome stage set for this year and expensive to produce. In following years the stage sets were cut back more no - thrills.
I would love to get this whole show if anyone knows if it's out there ?

Never Happen !  Also Foskett wasn't  in  Love's line-up in the 90's (he was fired).  Brian hired him in late 90's on his tour.  Love rehired him after many years  absent( 1990 --2012) ... time "heals old wounds" - especially because  Foskett is a great singer and both Love & Brian need his vocals these days...
It's all over when Mike calls it Quits !  ( not financially feasible for Foskett or anyone else to tour )

All over without  Mike on stage.  Bruce will retire.... If something happens to Bruce first Love would keep touring ie. big ego and loves $$$.  The music is the "star" of the show. ..... The BB's ended when Carl died  Al left and Carl's band  members left. 
 Foskett could probably go back playing some shows with Papa Doo Run or play little lounges or bars  by himself ....
Maybe Cowsill will go back to carpentry work as he was for many years & play the few shows with his family band at Newport R.I. ?  No idea what others in Love's group will do ?  The clock is running down fast.
