Anyone in Japan, Australia or NZ have any news to share with us?
BTW, the 1969 copyright release seems to be gone from Spotify. Does anyone still see it?
There is nothing on the NZ iTunes site and yes, 1969 is gone from everywhere as far as I can tell.

Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Re: “A Postcard from California” 2019 Reissues

Spotted over on aljardine.com/music/… Also, just two days ago, A Postcard from California was made available again on streaming/download services in a 13-track rendition (the 12 original tracks + “California Dreamin’‘”): http://amazon.com/dp/B07L92SGCN. Amazon says the label is Friday Music, who also put out last year’s vinyl reissue of Postcard, so I’d have to imagine it’s likely they’ll be behind the CD too. I skimmed the tracks for this new digital version on Spotify and happened to notice “Drivin’” is the Texaco version which really just makes me laugh. I think this was previously only on the ESQ CD, right? How many mix variations need to exist for this album? What makes it the Texaco version? I have every version of this album and all 3 versions of Drivin’ I have say Texaco at the end. Just wondering.

What happened to the 2015 thread about this single? Can’t find it for the life of me. Anyways, I remember making a post there back then about the charity contest thing that tied into the single. One of the prizes of the contest was a “CD signed by Al Jardine” and I speculated that that meant “Hurry Up, Hurry Up Santa Claus” existed on CD. Someone then pointed out to me that the contest could have been talking about a signed Postcard From California CD. Well, I just found out in the comment section on Al’s Facebook that it was indeed “Hurry Up.” Must be quite the rare CD! I was lucky enough to get one of those!
