YES !!! I pre-ordered my box set from DeepDiscount.com for $116.99... Got the email that they shipped it yesterday...Since I got the FREE shipping it would take 5 - 10 business days till it reached me...Which was about how long prior shipments took to reach me from DeepDiscount...Mostly DVDs... But...Who knew Christmas would arrived early???  I walked though the snow to my post office this morning and guess what I found???  |

deepdiscountCD says the box has shipped and it should arrive Wednesday by the end of the day.
I can hardly wait to get this up on the shelf where I can admire it forever and ever
DeepDiscount sent me a delivery email today too! Unfortunately I got the free shipping and will have to wait 5-10 business days... But...I'll be visiting Best Buy on Nov 1st for the 2 CD set to tide me over! After I do receive my box set I'll be drolling all over it... And I'll be making another SMiLE mix like everybody else...  |

Peter, does that mean Frank Holmes' work isn't being used?
Or does it mean that Dom is helping Tom Recchion to present Frank's work in addition to other artwork?
After all this time wrangling for the music's release, I'd hate for the only quibble to be about the artwork. A minor quibble, but Frank's work is very evocative of the whole smile 66-67 project.
The artwork isn't a minor quibble. To accurately use for once a hugely overworked word, it is iconic. To release this project without using Frank's cover is, simply unthinkable. remember, Frank wasn't paid back in the day, and his artwork wasn't used on BWPS because no-one would match his asking price. Hopefully Capitol won't be so stupid this time. Delurking for a clarification... Andrew... i was watching pardon the interruption last year and they were talking about the giants pitcher brian wilson, and tony k said something like "the pitcher, not the beach boy"
I remember watching Sportscenter during the playoffs when one of the ESPN guys said "Brian Wilson(SF Giants) wants to be hero, not a villain"... I got a good laugh out of that... But I'm not sure how many Baseball fans got it... MD... |

Anyone else hear a snippet of "The Spirit of Rock n' Roll" in the intro to "The Like In I Love You"? Specificially the "as long's there's music we'll all live forever" melody.
Yep...That's the first thing I thought too... Every time I play the song...I sing that snippet during the intro...  |

Well, whereas I used to have next to no problems, now, although the main menus load just fine, the individual threads won't, to the point where I can only read the most recent post. The page is continually loading. The only way around it is to hit reply and try to read the microscopic font.
This is since about 11pm last night UK time.
same problem here Ditto... Started a few days ago for me... No problem loading site or forums... But loading individual threads takes up to 2 minutes to completely load... "waiting for feeds.feedburner.com" is the message displayed at the bottom of my Firefox browser as its trying to load in the thread... MD... |

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced a glitch, specifically during the instrumental break @ 59:46-59:48. Dennis's drum fill isn't in sync with the audio. I've A/B'd it with the SOS DVD which doesn't seem to have this problem. I just want to identify whether or not I have a dud copy.

I taped it off a PBS pledge drive a few months ago and watched it again today... There definitely was some sort of "glitch" during the instrumental break... MD... |
