This album is lovely, great sound, great audience. But Iīm a little upset with the Setlist, I think iīve mentioned thas a several times before  Shocked

It wouldīve been lovely to have California, Cottonfields, Lady Linda or Sea Cruise on it... where have all "Jardine" Songs gone? He only plays the Hits

But his song "California energy blues" is nice
3  Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Re: New Brian album announced on: September 06, 2006, 11:14:00 PM
Iīm very excited about it, Iīm sure it gonna be a great Album!
First of all I thought, that Brian is goin to do the whole Album with David Pack and Burt Bacharach but now it seem that he only wrote 1 Song with Burt.
So heīs working on 7 Songs, hope that he will wrote a few new songs...
4  Smiley Smile Stuff / 21st Century Beach Boys Albums / Re: The Beach Boys Classics Selected By Brian Wilson on: May 04, 2006, 07:06:36 AM
I think itīs a very nice selection by Brian! The new version of California feelin is "nice".. but the 70th version is much better!

Hmm... I donīt like it, I donīt know why! But Brians voice is not that good (like on Iīm waiting for the day) ... ok, seein it live must be a great moment, but only hearin it on CD is... you know...
6  Smiley Smile Stuff / Brian Wilson Solo Albums / Re: What I Really Want For Christmas on: May 04, 2006, 07:01:56 AM
I like this Album very much! I bought it on Vinyl.
I think I will listen to this Album on every christmas time!

The titel track is - imo - one of the best new songs that Brian wrote... in the last 20 years!
And Bernieīs Lyrics are wonderful too!

Yes, I like this Album very much. His voice on "Today" is great, his songwriting on "I wish for you" and "Like a brother" is great to. Ok, there are 2 not sooo fine songs on it, but itīs okay!

Carlīs Song "Run donīt walk" was planed for the last Beach Boys Album back in 1996...

Oh I love this Album! I love it so much.   A long time I own this Album as a (pssst...) Bootleg... but a few month ago I found this on a Vinyl (and payed 35 US-D for it).

My favorite songs on this Album are "River Song", "Moonshine", "Time" and "Thoughts of you". This Album shows definitly who was the real creative genius in the 70th! Thank you Dennis for this! Itīs so sad, that his second Album never released... like his other great songs (Iīve got a friend, 4th of July, Time to live in dreams aso)...
