Was thinking bout doing my forerms, one side god only knows with some type of art around it and the other forearm heroes and villains. With h&v was thinking some kinda art with cowboy and Indian and fire.. Just seeing what u guys think? Overkill or good idea?
What an album.. I mean totally different but brilliant. Trader, steamboat, sail on sailor, brians weird tracks? I mean goddam what a different out of the box album. I listen to it through and I'm glad there are others who appreciate
I've friends onto Holland, sunflower, friends.. People just need to hear them because there is so much between 67-73..anytime we sitting in bar ill manage to download some hilland in jukebox
Yea it's actually a great record shop with just about anything rare.. Beach boys selection is phenomenal. I like a lot of jazz and I can't find a place to beat their selection, even tried many stores in NYC but not the same. Only one that comes close is a great place in the village called bleeker street records. I remember them having every bb cd and vinyl ever made with lots of boots
Damn u lucky Mikie.. Wish I could of seen these shoes but I was born in 83. The only reason why I even posted was because there very few people my age who share the same enthusiasm about a BB boot. But yea the one I picked up is pipeline.
Yea crowds goes crazy the whole show, yes they have bootlegs in there once in awhile, They actually have a good beach boys selection in there which u dont see too much
In my local music store picked up their concert from Nassau Coliseum ny June 1974.. Lotta great holland tracks, clarity nice.. Anyways wanted to share cause u don't always come across these in the stores
I think she appreciates it musically, but I don't think she likes it. She likes heroes and villians, and good vibrations. But at least she doesn't care that I listen almost every day..so I'll take it
No not at all, still love the song, arrangement is great..something draws me into that 76-77 Brian rhaspy vocal, but not knowing it was him hitting those high notes, then finding out pleasant suprise..but don't get me wrong Dennis is one of my favorite vocals in the group..
On don't talk, the part where it seperates at the end, I believe its chellos, followed by a soaring percussion as it fades out..singing don't talk, don't talk. Gets me all the time
Quick question for the love you album, on the night was so young, who is singing the ooh wa oohs on the bridge..? It Dennis or Carl? It's not Brian cuz its kinda high note.anyway just wondering
Local station by me played friends the other day, was pretty suprised. That same station played the surfs up, surf up rendition while in the work truck, my co worker hated it, but that's no Suprise coming from someone who likes pretty much garbage metal music
