"Pale And Precious" by The Dukes of the Stratosphere.

I know the discussion is about The Beach Boys, but another band, "Roxy Music," is celebrating an anniversary this year as well.  On their first album, "Re-Make/Re-Model," I always thought they sang, "She can help my mind create."  Instead Bryan Ferry and company sing, "CPL593H."

Although accentuated by synths, the "I Just Wasn't Made for These Times" remake of "Warmth of the Sun" has that very same beauty you never want to end.

Two outros not mentioned:  The harmonies of solitude in "The Warmth of the Sun," and the final moments of the influential "Feel Flows."  Would also mention the understated tinkling of Smiley Smiles' "Wind Chimes."

Intro not yet mentioned:  the pure joy that is "Vege-Tables."

Oh yeah, from "Caroline, No!"  "It's so sad to watch a sweet thing die..."  Man, oh man!

From "The Warmth of the Sun," "The love of my life, she left me one day..."  I can vividly remember...it was Christmas Eve Eve, a bright moon where I could see her breath on that cold evening as she told me.  Her name, believe it or not, was Rhonda.  My friends in high school would sing, "Help Me, Rhonda," as we started going out.  Indeed she was the love of my life.  Probably my favorite melody to a Beach Boys song, "The Warmth of the Sun."
