It's a wonderful feeling to hear from some of you and find out you're listening! I'm humbled, Peter Reum. orange 22... that's so great to hear, and I'm glad you picked up on the humor. There's some tidbits I put in there that include some funny/twisted moments. There are plans to re-release the project as an expanded deluxe edition a little further down the road. There are already more finished re-workings. I'll keep you posted! Hearing back from those who have enjoyed it is quite motivating, yet I was already working on the deluxe edition before I heard from you. I suppose that proves I just can't stop keeping The Beach Boys in heavy rotation as a big part of the soundtrack of my life. I'm sure many of you can relate.

Non Smiley Smile Stuff / Smiley Smilers Who Make Music / It's OK! (New Cover) • 100 + Vocal Tracks

Hope every body out there is feeling good and ready to kick off their summer right. Over on my end, I'm kicking off the season with a cover of It's OK, the quintessential 1976 Beach Boys jam. Some like it, some do not, but personally I love the classic recording. It will forever give me visions of Dennis behind the drums in Anaheim that bicentennial summer, shooting that look over to Brian at the keyboards (from the NBC TV Special). The Moog Taurus I bass pedal bass line, the bleeping organs during the chorus, the Be My Baby drum pattern leading the charge into sunshine, and of course the wall of sound harmonies coming through with force. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsIwftpT3roMaybe some of you will dig my take on It's OK. Some won't, and that's cool! It features me on all vocals and instruments. 100 + tracks of harmonies. Fans will recognize the intro as You & I from Dennis Wilson's Pacific Ocean Blue album. Take care, all! Will

Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Re: Thread for various insignificant questions that don't deserve their own thread!

• Does anybody know what synthesizer is being used for the bass line in "It's OK"? I know the Moog Taurus 1 is all over this Beach Boys era, but this bass line seems a little different to me. I LOVE the sound of it. If it is indeed the Taurus, does anybody know if it's run through another piece of equipment to get the sound it has on "It's OK"?
• Also, I've been curious for quite awhile now as to what synthesizer is being used on "Baby Blue." It's most prevalent bubbling up during the "late at night, late at night, hunny late at night" part of the song where Dennis is singing. Is it an ARP string ensemble? I don't necessarily mean the string sound that is providing the pad, but more the specific melody line notes going on around those parts of the song.
Thanks to anybody who can help!

Good stuff... coming home from some required evening work to see that people are checking out this thread, and more importantly the new site. I'm having a fun time with it, there is certainly more to come. Late here on my end at the moment, but tomorrow I'll keep it rolling. My motivation is that there are people out there seeing things they've been dying to see or never knew was out there. I am always searching for more. I know a lot of you know how that is! • Shady, I saw your question about the Radiant Radish photos. I have those saved on my computer, but I have no doubt I originally snagged them off the Smiley Smile Board, right here. Now, if only I could remember the thread... (hmmm) • bossaroo, that's so funny! We gotta figure out what's going on in that Heroes and Villains ad.

Quzi, I mentioned Adieu Or Die here back when it was brand new, which was early 2012. I can understand why it would fly under the radar, but I'm always quite happy to hear somebody is digging it, so thanks a lot for letting me know. I strongly encourage you to click this link - http://willcmusic.com/adieu-or-die/Downloading "Adieu Or Die" via the bulleted/bolded hyperlink at the top of the above site will begin a download of the FULL Adieu Or Die project. You may have already done this, but I wanted to let you know it comes with more than what the Soundcloud Adieu Or Die offers. It will include a 38-page PDF booklet with liner notes, quotes, illustrations unique to the project, and more. Hope you continue to delve into it! I worked on it for a long long time.
