Sorry, but to me this is one of the scariest things facing our country, the mass retardation of our people into not accepting science anymore.  Its gotta scare someone else come on.

I can't believe nobody put up         "Atlantis"    by Donovan
"Hey Jude" Beatles    They actually sorta sound the same if u listen to them, not the notes, just the whole ending part.  Its not hard to believe that Donovan and Paul hung out.

Mitchell, you ever catch that episode of cheap seats where its mst3k watching them watch sports clips?
6  Smiley Smile Stuff / 1990's Beach Boys Albums / Re: The Pet Sounds Sessions on: March 02, 2006, 09:10:46 AM
Sometimes i find that i like listening to the sessions better than the completed versions of the songs, some of these tracks make really great instrumentals.  I think thats probably one of the most amazing things about the BB is that you could just listen to the vocals, music, or them all together and its like 3 different songs.  I always picture non existent movie scense when i hear the instrumentals,  looking at this i dont think im making sense anymore, does anyone else at least feel somewhat what im saying?

You would think you would offer encouragement to the people who have the courage to post their music here. But oh well. foda him.

You already said it was a pathetic attempt at music.  You trashed our stuff, I wouldn't exactly call that encouragement, and i didnt even trash an 18 minute instrumental you did.  I actually listened to the whole thing,  I bet you didnt even listen for more than a minute.  Now I really don't know why you are saying I ave no balls etc. Im not even claiming I'm great or saying you suck.   All i did was hate smiley smile, and use bad grammar.

I play music wih mike, we are arent really that serious right now we do the high five thing and are trying to just write some songs and play music.  I mentioned that he(joe meek) was a genius cause of the discussion on another thread about brian wilson being a genius.  I had alot of funny stuff(Stupid songs) on my computer and it crashed, maybe mike has some i dont know.  I was thinking it reminded me of kraftwerk too, i dont understand this crap about feeding trolls,  I think you just want me to insult you or something,  sorry the comment wasn't written so great.

16  Non Smiley Smile Stuff / General Music Discussion / Re: ELVIS on: February 17, 2006, 03:55:58 PM
I just like how crazy elvis was. Sure theres some great rock and roll there, but the lessons on fame and overindulgence you learn from watching anything about that guys life is way more valuable than any music he made, and i like the early stuff alot.

I will try.  Proper puncuation and spelling isnt important to me, when i see things written wrong or spelled wrong i just correct it while reading. To me its the point thats being made, not the pen writing it.  But i can understand how its annoying, sorry
19  Smiley Smile Stuff / 1960's Beach Boys Albums / Re: Smiley Smile on: February 17, 2006, 03:29:05 PM
im fine with that, this is just crazy anyways.  i guess we all get a little touchy with the beach boys. its actually kinda funny, and h&v we are all nerds for posting on this board. i can accept that, i read lord of the rings too.  they have message boards just like this, and they have people who know all the stupid sh*t thats on every page and the most random obscure facts about stuff that doesnt matter, and i love that. its a great escape, as are the beach boys, you can get lost listening to all the albums.  i think the funniest part of fighting on this board about the music is the fact that since we are here you can pretty much bet that we like this band alot more than most people. this is really just a big fight about who "gets it" gets which album, smile, smiley smile, pet sounds whatever.
and to the part about postin on stuff i do like, i havent cause i feel like if i said anything that most likely been posted already and just get trashed for it
20  Smiley Smile Stuff / 1960's Beach Boys Albums / Re: Smiley Smile on: February 17, 2006, 02:54:25 PM

24  Smiley Smile Stuff / 1960's Beach Boys Albums / Re: Smiley Smile on: February 17, 2006, 02:46:47 PM

25  Smiley Smile Stuff / General On Topic Discussions / Re: Brian Wilson - Genius? on: February 16, 2006, 10:44:19 PM
its funny that you said genius would have to be applied to the doors and pink floyd. jim morrison was a genius, an actual genius on the I.Q. scale, and its 130 which the genius level applies. its just funny that you mentioned the doors cause jim was a genius, i dunno if brian is but the music he made sure makes you wonder.  the other composers you mentioned, all the classical ones.... werent they all nuts as well?
