I was at the show on Thursday night and I must say he did have his share of rough spots. He seemed completely disengaged from the music and the crowd and even his band wasn't as vibrant as they were on the Fall '09 tour.

However, compared to when I saw Brian and band in Fall '09 (November - F.M. Kirby Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA), the crowd was definitely more energentic and responsive when compared to that show. Granted, there were many people who were walking out early during the Gershwin set or right after set one, but those who stayed really gave off a positive energy. I was sitting next to a section that was completely empty and the three rows behind the row I sat in were empty save for a few people.

I definitely agree w/ Mike's Beard that picking three from 20/20 was the hardest. Friends was a tough one for me too (does Breakaway count?).

Taking the idea from someone who posted with a three part set list, it might be interesting to see them present their career chronologically. Start with the really early stuff, then mix Pet Sounds stuff with other mid '60s to early seventies stuff, and then conclude with a few carefully chosen late '70's and early '80s gems (i.e. Somewhere Near Japan, Roller Skating Child). Also, the concept of playing an album live is very much en vogue, so why not have a mixed set and an album in its entirety?

If they are only doing one show, which is what Jardine has confirmed, this is what I would like to hear:

Question: would Kokomo and other of Love's "gems" not involving Brian be played on this reunion involving Brian or would that just be a slap in the face? Or make Brian want to vomit?

I discover something new every time I listen to Heroes and Villains; a bit of chorus or new instrumental or something. As well as Don't Talk (Put Your Head on My Shoulder), so haunting yet, so moving. It leaves me speechless every time.

Regardless of Mike's crush on Uncle Jesse, Stamos has still done a lot for the band commercially and has provided good advertisement for their tunes.
