Do you think, now that this song is available, that whoever thought up the faux "Remember The Zoo?" tracklist regrets including it? :-P
Damn... if that album did exist, side 2 would've been NUTS. "Tones", a 1966 version of "He Couldn't Get His Poor Old Body To Move", "Teeter Totter Love", a Tomorrow Never Knows-type track with animal noises over it.... and people questioned Smile?!
LOL funniest post of the year!

Will have to listen to all 5 discs to locate these parts again but 3 things I noticed (or can remember this time in the morning!) are..
1, Briain saying "Do you like worms?" during a session, although I don't think it was during a worms session - Maybe the first time this song title is mentioned.
2, During the Bag of Tricks session, Dennis? mentions a Police Officer and that you could play a tune on a Police Siren - then someone (Carl, Al or Bruce maybe) mentions that you can play a tune on a Touch-Tone phone! Didn't even know they existed back then?!? Maybe could have been used with the Reconected telephone direct dialing line from Cabin..
3, One of the guys mentions a sound effect they are attempting sounds like someone crunching Vegetables, again not at a Vegetables session, maybe Brian got the idea from here?
Sorry I can't be more specific with track numbers! I was listening on headphones at work.

Just been to HMV in Liverpool, I got the Box and 2 disc this morning from Amazon but also bought the 1 dsc (crazy I know) in-store. It was £9.99, they had the 2 disc for £15.99 - didn't see the box set anywhere.
Now I have all 3 versions..
I have ripped all 5 discs to iTunes at 320kbps, and made safety copies and will spend the next few hours hopefuly managing a complete run through of the whole set. Had a quick scan through and there seems to be tons of new stuff that has not been heard before, even having heard 95% of the "shady stuff"

The good news is Amazon.co.uk have dispatched my boxset to arrive tomorrow instead of Tuesday
The bad news is I have taken Tuesday off work so I have to sit at work knowing it's on my doorstep ( I live in a very trusting part of the world!)
Hmmm-I feel the onset of man flu approaching!!
Well I booked Monday off and mine is supposed to be coming Tuesday! Fancy a job swap for the day?!

Ok, just got home to find that Amazon.co.uk have delivered a hardback book that I was waiting for, however, nobody was in to take the delivery so the parcel was just dumped by the front door of the house!
Luckily it was still there and it had not rained! I'm now getting worried that the same will happen to my Sessions box - it had better be in absolutely mint condition when it arrives next week.
Does anyone know if Best Buy will be selling this in-store in the UK and if so, how much will it be? I may cancel the Amazon order and buy it instore so I can see the condition of the box. I know HMV will have it in-store but will no doubt add a £50 mark up.
Thanks PS a PM would be nice, although I should have the box and 2cd set soon , the suspense is killing me!

Can anyone who has the box please check to see if there is a download code for the digital version, thanks..
No download code as far as I can see. Sorry. A note for completists (ie us): the cover for the stand-alone 2LP version posted earlier in the thread (which has the titles in 4 columns) is different from the cover for the 2LP version included in the box set (which has the standard two columns....and -thankfully- no barcode). Still...forcing...myself...to...wait...til...tomorrow...to...listen.....argh..... Thanks for checking, can't wait for my box. COME ON AMAZON.CO.UK... pull your finger out and get them in the mail!

And the session snippet for Vegetables Fade, anyone? The little glockenspiel counterpoint melody - Only BW can create music this bewitching.
I love that piece! You almost couldn't hear that little melody in the old bootlegs. Now it's clear as a bell! I have the samples playing in sequence on the HMV site. Wow, the Dada sessions alone are worth the price of the box!! 104 Second Day: I never noticed that jewellery sound that corresponds with the bird sounds. Was that on the boots? May have been burried in all of the murk of Secret SMiLE, off subject but I LOVE the beggining of track 55 (H&V Fade), that sounds unlike any take I have ever heard. I love Teeter too, anything with a slide whistle is great in my book! No sign of "Crack the Whip" or "When I get mad, I just play my drums" though...
