Its not the best programme, but its got like 8 tracks or so off real audio, and FX etc

But.....You need to get a decent recording programme for your comp. Pro tools LE (free) is good, and itlle give you loads of tracks  to record on and layer up. And add efects, reverb, EQ, Pitch corection, tempo chang etc   You may also want to get a mic pre, and thatlle really make a difference. Downoad pro tools le at www.digidesign.com

Your getting that hissing noise becuase your recording things too low a volume, you need to record things reall loud. That what mic pre does, it gets  the signal really loud.

Sorry for the controversy, just thought I would be the one to say what everyone was thinking. I know i sound like a dick, but cmon, when I first started at music I was told i sucked all the time, for years, and years and years. And I still cant sing great at all, thing is though, Ive been told, and I practise hard to get better, not expecting anything but critisism.

Other people need to be told too. Simple. Its ignorant to meander around telling the truth when put in a possition when someone asks for your opinion, like in this case.

Keep trying though mate, work on your tone, and notes. Try singing in the car or something.

Thanks, Yeah its me singing, gonna try and do better tonight. I was going to add it to the CD but I wont have time to post it unless they can use a file sent by email.

I used a Korg n630 for the hapsi abd melotron (i think)

Used some melotron and piano and stuff


The singing is a bit, eh, sh*t......but hopefully it will be improved when its redone

This is fantasitic. Ive only just gotten round to listening, and I love it!

Its so laid back, and it has so much charactor. I think your vocals are amazing, and I love the lennonesque production of the whole thing, especially the echo on the vocals, nice touch! The guitar work is superb. The only thing I could critisise is the volume of the saxophone in the mix, its pretty loud like, and mabey a bit of reverb on it to settle it in to the song a bit more. Appart from that, your spot on!

This is really good stuff mate, Im gonna go listen to it again

Anyway, Ive sent oldmasterpainter the first bit of the track. I had to take it up one key, so I hope thatlle be OK.

Sorry we couldnt play over the original as a backing, but thats pretty damn hard, when your trying to hear it over the drums etc.
