Non Smiley Smile Stuff / General Music Discussion / Re: Calling Beatles Fans: Let's Settle This. Cry For A Shadow, Harrison or Sheridan

I know that this doesn't have anything to do with the subject of this thread, but since it's a Beatles question I thought I'd just throw it in here. I hope guitarfool2002 doesn't mind. My question is about the version of Please Please Me on the "Introducing The Beatles" album. Has this particular version of the song, with a lyric flub from John, ever been officially released on cd? If not, is this the only Beatles "rarity" that is to this day not readily available?
The US Album "The Early Years" has this mix.

Finished the book over the weekend. Like I said, it's not really a "revelation" kind of book. For the casual fan there may be some new information, but people like me who have pored over Brian Wilson interviews for years will be familiar with the stories. This wasn't disappointing, it was exactly what I expected. It's a fun, quick read, and I recommend it without reservation.

Doobie Brothers "What a Fool Believes" now. My only exposure to them was through their Diff'rent Strokes episode.
It was What's Happening that they were on. Rerun got caught trying to bootleg their concert. I am somewhat sad that I remember that. Also somewhat proud.

"Four Pet Sounds classics followed, including the instrumental title track, on which Nick Walusko reclaimed the lead guitar part that had been taken away from him on last year’s Beach Boys reunion tour. "
David Marks, a real BB , played it last year; why do I want to here Nick play it when a BB is standing right there? ...I can sort of see why any-Beach-Boy is better than a non-Beach-Boy, but... isn't this a bit like complaining that they don't get Blondie Chaplin to sing "Little Deuce Coupe"? David didn't actually have anything to do with the original song. Having him play it at the 50th was lovely, yes, but it's not really a question of authenticity... Cheers, Jon Blum Not for nothing - but didn't a non-Beach Boy (Jerry Cole) play it to begin with?
