A Time to Live in Dreams, and Walk On By--WOB is pretty but way too short to be considered a good song

Sunflower is the BB album that contains the most balanced contributions from each member of the band

Tally in 60 minutes.

I was thinking, because of the nature of these odds and ends track selections do you folks think I should do a tally once a day?

That, or do two at a time, a la the XMas Survivor, up to you Pixletwin

I for one love That Lucky Old Sun and I feel that it is the greatest "concept" album in music history, which is more than appropriate considering Little Deuce Coupe is considered the birth of the concept album.

He would have mixed California Girls differently? Wow,

Not that surprising, he has said on more than one occasion that it is his least favorite BB vocal effort and that Mike "rushed it a bit"

Just discovered these guys and this thread deserved a bump for those that have not yet discovered this unbelievable BB tribute band. Wish they would tour or at the very least release an official CD or DVD, their YouTube videos are incredible and worth a listen. I believe the fendertones web address given in the OP is no longer in use

1 Think i do not understand about the Beach Boys is this!  The Wrecking Crew the Studio Musicians.  Why would the Beach Boys want to use them in 1964 through 1967?  I thought the Beach Boys played there own Music so why would you need the Wrecking Crew?

Carole Kaye has a need to play, or claim to play, on every track in recorded history, so her attachment to the Wrecking Crew and the Beach Boys helps her to reach this mighty goal

Brian is dropping Jeff as his back-up in favor if Matt J.

He can't do that, who would LEAD the band?!?

4th Of July

Never got this track, but I think if I were American it may help

4th of July...I AM American, so I "get" it...it's just a boring track, which anyone of any nationality (and ears) can get!
