Title: Let us go on this Way (Beach Boys cover)
Post by: ♩♬🐸 Billy C ♯♫♩🐇 on March 04, 2009, 12:43:11 AM
There is a slight skip, that's because the cassette that I had it taped on had a defect.

Hope you guys like it.

I like the sounds a lot--especially the lower keyboard in the "it seems we have extra-sens'ry perception..." bridge bit. You also reminded me that I did this song years ago. Upload (no doubt just pined for by all comers) forthcoming.

/B/tard, I like it, it has a lot of character. It was quirky, kind of like Love You. I like those keyboard stabs in the beginning that go through the rest of the song. And Luther, nice cover. For some reason, the sound of it reminds me of late 60s BB demos like "Walkin" and "I Just Got My Pay". The only thing I'd do different next time is snort cocaine and smoke three packs of cigarettes to get that authentic vocal sound.

thats the 2nd LUGTW i've heard in one day! What a strange but great tune it is. This version of it makes it seem very 'childish' in a way which of course is an accusation levelled at 'Love you' in general!
