I couldn't figure out how to notify you privately or officially in the time I have but I am receiving unwanted personal messages for porn sites from the latest member and they imply it is going to other members as well.  I think the board has been punked.

I did receive the same PNs

So did I.

Daniel Craig should be trying to be a decent Bond instead of spamming us...

If you haven't done it yet, it's time to at least hide your email-address in your profile.

It may prevent spam harvesting, but hiding the email address won't prevent PM spam.  Don't know what Chuck will do to prevent this without having some form of registration process.

The picture of the giant "guy with a phallus" is disturbing!

When the messages were brought to my attention, I took the following actions:

1) I banned the "user" and apologized to Billy and Joe for overstepping my bounds, explaining it appeared to be an emergency situation.

2) I changed the registration process so that Billy or Joe will have to approve any new registrations.  Previously, you had to reply to a registration email, but clearly that's not enough to prevent spam.

Hopefully that will take care of that.  And I'm sorry for what happened.

There's only one person that has to apologise and that's that Craig dude.

Just make sure you don't go see "Casino Royale," that's your best way to get back at him!

My first thought was.."is that real?" followed by, " hey, what is this even doing here?" For quick identification of this Craig guy, simply look at the center of the picture he sent, and you will see his image....

Yeah, I got 2 copies of an identaical spam...  guess he hit us all?

In case anyone is thinking this donald is responsible, I just want to say that the person spamming or whatever is some OTHER donald.  And, by the way, I don't seem to have any inappropriate pms.

I deleted it but it seemed to take a couple of tries.  Like a virus. :o

I've reported the incident to Yahoo and to the originator of the IP address, which was United Airlines via Juno.  I'm guessing "Daniel" spoofed the IP.

I haven't checked my E mails for a few days so I only discovered this today. For a start how did this Daniel Craig get my E mail address? it is not on my details on this site.
I use a PC that belongs to another person in this house and she was offended by this sort of thing appearing on her computer. I hope this is sorted out because if this happens again I will have to cease using this site.

So you're saying you don't want your part of the money that's been set aside, as part of the settlement, for people who've been traumatized and offended from receiving the emails?  Good, because today's the last day to make the claim - more for us!  Maybe you should have your own email account that the other person living in your house can't access, too (just an idea).
