Steve Lewis is making some savvy choices in terms of the guests he's bringing onto his excellent YouTube channel. Re: Surfin' USA: Do we know who wrote and re-wrote the lyrics for the recording? Brian sings a couple of alternative lines on the demo. I've heard different claims of who helped with the lyrics. Dennis was mentioned either in "Brian's" first book or the two-fer liner notes, Mike was mentioned by himself and Carl IIRC and of course Judy's brother also gets named. |
